I'm 27 and never been married + no kids. So I feel you. Apparently there is something really wrong with me, haha And I don't even see myself as the marrying type, not to mention mother type. Sure, I feel that there is cultural thing, since people don't get married young as easily back here than they do in USA.

Back here in Finland we actually have grocery stores that donate food for homeless people. There is volunteers who pack the foods in bags and give them out. I think it's wonderful way to help and make sure that no food gets wasted and poor people get something to eat. I also know few stores who bring dried bread to barns…

No, it's not awkward when you're use to it :) We do it all the time, it's not hard to put your shoes on when you go out and take them off when you go in. It's like reflex, you don't even think about it :)

I think it's great if you can find something from dumpsters! I live in a apartment building that had small building for the dumpsters and recycling. I have actually left there stuff so people can take them if they need them. Like this one big mirror that was bit chipped in one corner or tons of hangers. They weren't there…

Same here in Finland. Except that not all provide slipper, even in Sweden (have few friends in Sweden and they don't offer slippers). I always have comfy socks with me and I'm good. Greetings from Europe ;) Up in Northern Europe we are old fashioned in this department, so I would like to point that it's more acceptable in PARTS of Europe. There are so many different countries here that we can't be labeled as one :smile:

Back here the price is about 2.17$ per liter, which makes it about 8.22$ per gallon. (1.649 eur per liter). And that's one of the reasons why I ride a bus to work. And changed my car to smaller one. Only drive it couple times a week. Northern Europe rocks. Not.
