I am 5'5 and my lowest was when I was in high school swimming competitively year round. I was strong, really strong, lifting weights too, and I was 130-135. MFP told me I could go as low as 114 but I think that is way too low for me, especially if I want to be as strong as I was. I also think you should go for what looks…

I have two. One is a philipino tribal symbol, it symbolizes the female, it's on my wrist. I got it when I was with my ex. I don't regret it - it's my girl power tattoo. I got it because she was wearing it when we met. My other is on my back, it's a flower blooming out of fire with a butterfly flying away from it. I adore…

I completely understand. The treadmill and I had an hour long convo last night while the person I'm dating went out dancing with a friend. That plus the hour I had already spent on cardio strength class was the only reason I slept last night. Better than eating chocolate or drinking beer!

Becoming someone who actually enjoys running and gets up at the crack of dawn on a hot summer Saturday to run in a 5K. Being a better more active mom for my kids. Using exercise as my medication instead of a prescription drug. Being WAY more organized about grocery shopping.

I loved She-Ra and Rainbow Brite - My Little Pony too!

I LOVE your meal plan! It's simple and straightforward, and really similar to how I eat. Awesome!

I've done so many stupid things ... hmmm ... when I was little, maybe 8, I rode my bike to the town pet store (small town) and bought a hamster that my parents didn't want me to have. They caught me, of course, when I tried to hide it in the dining room. It got out of the box and we had to chase it all over the house, then…

I like my eyes (I have been told i have great green eyeballs lol) my lips, my boobs, my big round bootie, my calves, my arms, and my eyebrows after they are waxed lol. 7 things! I like my brain too.

I am certainly not an expert, but the very idea of weights on my ankles while I am running or walking makes my knees scream at me. It seems the more important thing is to get your heart rate up, which you can accomplish by walking quickly. If you want to get stronger do strength training.

run. hard. i feel like i can do anything after a good run.

I love my skullcandy earphones.

Bump looking for one soon

I'm on week 6 day 3 ... Loving it! A friend of mine who completed C25K repeated the program but used the "walking" intervals as her normal jogging speed and the "running" intervals for a slightly faster speed, so for me, it would be walk = jog at 5mph and run = jog at 6 mph . There is also a C210K program that has you…

Eric or Pam - with out the rotting face issue.

bump - i was just having this debate in my head.

TRUE! That's your child, not a pet. CREEPY. I hate that I saw a little boy no older than 5 in a lifejacket at the beach the other day who lost his parents. It took beach patrol 45 minutes to find them and they didn't even know he was gone. A$$hats don't deserve to raise another human being.

I have heard good things about Moving Comfort bras - I found them at http://www.titlenine.com/. I have been doubling up on bras as well but I feel like it makes it harder to breathe when I am already panting.

Same story here, and it's so early in the a.m it's hard to eat breakfast. I eat a quick small breakfast like the ones that were mentioned above, and take a snack with me too. Usually string cheese or apple slices that I can eat at my desk between classes or during my prep.

I do C25K on the treadmill and yes, you really will be able to do a 5K! I have done two and am only at week 5, but I haven't run the whole 5K yet. I walk at about 3mph and I have found that I can run for a long time at 5mph. I discovered this just by playing with the speed on the treadmill and pushed it up til I had to…

This! My favorite motivational book is *Run like a Mother* - after reading it I knew I could run and get in shape, no excuses! There were many quotes like that in the book, women whose families told them to go run because they were cranky, women who knew they came back from a workout better mothers for the time they spent…

AWESOME!!! Congratulations! I just started running 5K's and I LOVE them, and I can't wait to try a mud run!! Your pics are great!

Ok I'm going to post my weight - I have struggled with even admitting it for so long! HW: 212 CW: 199 GW: 140 Goal for August: 189 I'm a HS teacher and I go back to work in two weeks, so I am glad to have a challenge and support to keep me on track when I go back to work and things get hectic again. NO EXCUSES!

Love it! I agree, and hey, we work hard for the biceps and end up losing the boobs! I am personally tired of hearing that my boobs have shrunk lol. My ex made the mistake of making that comment and almost got smacked!

I agree about the humidity - the heat index here was 110 yesterday. 103 today, and a couple of days ago two dogs died of heatstroke at the park near me. It was horrible. People still get out and run in the heat too - I watched a guy jog right into traffic and get hit by a car in the middle of the day. I love summer but…

students at work (i have taught middle and high school) asking if i was pregnant - i wasn't wearing dresses all the time because i couldnt fit into pants unless they came from the plus size section realizing i weighed exactly as much as i did the day my first child was born. ridiculous.
