D3W3 done. I had to laugh at myself today while working out. Jillian was rambling something about how the girl doing the modified was complaining that she wasn't getting her workout, and I couldn't help but roll my eyes and mumble some not nice things about the little creep. I started to giggle at myself and lost my…

Hello fellow Gryffindors! Just popped in to say hi, and see how everyone has been doing. Is anyone else having trouble getting their full protein allowances in? I'm generally fine until I work out, and then I'm back to square 1. I'm getting better though!

Forgot to check in yesterday, but I did D1W3 yesterday and just finished D2W3 today. Week 3 is really hard for me, I have a bad knee (no cartilidge in my right knee). I can't physically do that duck walk, but I try and by the end of the workout my knee is so shaky and weak. But, I'm giving it all I have and then some!…

Just finished D6W2, with 40 minutes of Kick boxing to wash it down. Starting W3 tomorrow.
-
D5W2 is done with a couple dance workout videos thrown in for good measure. Skated for 1 1/2 hours last night, my legs are sooooo tired!!

For the new catagory I was going to suggest HIPPOGRIFFS, because they're just cool. But, I'm digging SPEW as well.

Monday check in time: CW: 162 (down 2 pounds!) OWLS: 120 NEWTS: 5 (even though I spent Thanksgiving alone I decided to cook my own Thanksgiving dinner compelte with huge turkey, but decided to see if I could reduce the calories on the sides. I suceeded in making a bunch of low calorie, yet totally yummy side dishes and…

Checking in with my daily report! Took a rest day yesterday, my shoulders definatley needed it. Today I finished D4W2, tonight I'll throw in some roller derby training and hope to survive long enough for Jillian to try and kill me again tomorrow lol.

I keep hearing from various reports that the Chupacabra that has been seen lately, the one that is more canine in appearance. Is actually a new species. They are hybrids, crosses between coyotes and mexican gray wolves. Just thought it was interesting. It may not be the creature of legend, but it's still cool that they…

Hi I'm Jamie, I'm new to the group. I have been interested in most anything labeled as "weird" for pretty much ever. My grandmother had an interest in the macabre which I seem to have inherited. I own a small (beyond small) business where I use gems and crystals and their metaphysical properties. Right now it's mostly…

Oooh, I'm the first to check in on the new thread! It's the little things in life that keep my going lol. Finished D3W2 today followed by 55 minute dance workout. My shoulders and upper back are so sore, but in a good way. Keep up the good work team!!!

D2W1 is done, omg I'm so freaking sore. I knew it, I jinxed myself last check in by saying how much I like W2. Threw in a kickboxing workout, and dance workout afterwards before I threw the turkey in the oven. Had to make sure I got all my working out in so I can indulge just a bit. Happy Thanksgiving to all those who…

The book your talking about in the ocean isn't part of the series, but I can't remember if it's written similarly to the series it's been a really long time since I read them. Jonathan Maeberry has one book patient zero that the zombies talk and such, but Rot and Ruin is more Romero-ish. You wouldn't like the David…

Here's a list of some zombie books I've read, i thought they were good but it's all about personal preference. Rot and Ruin Jonathan Maeberry ( I think he wrote a sequel to it as well) Brian Keene has written a few as well as some zombie comics David Wellington has a series (much different spin on zombies though)

Didn't realize we switched threads, too busy getting ripped I guess lol. So to recap, I did 6 days of week 1. Today was D1W2. This may sound insane, buy I actually really like W2. It's hard as hell, but I'm digging it (we'll see how much I'm digging it tomorrow when my muscles declare mutiny). Was going to throw in some…

D5 and D6 of week 1 done today. Didn't work out yesterday because my hip was really really bothering me. Still tender, but feeling a bit better. On to week 2 tomorrow.

D4W1 done. Hope to get some roller derby training in tonight too.

D3W1 done, followed up by 40 minutes of cardio kick boxing. My shoulders hate me. Taking a rest day tomorrow, well kind of at least. Working a craft fair all day and then roller derby practice in the evening for 2 hours, don't think I'll have the time or the energy to squeeze one in. Question: It's recommended we take 1…

Finished up with D2W1. Feeling pretty good so far, a little sore in my legs and shoulders but nothing too bad.
-
Finished D1W1, at first I was thinking this is too easy. I changed my mind after circuit 2 lol. I will agree with others that doing 30DS helped quite a bit, and I am sooooo not happy for the return of side lunges. I actually enjoyed the workout, now if I could just get my digital copy to stop acting up life would be…
-
Yep, I'm sitting here waiting for my old and slow computer to finish downloading the series from i-tunes then it's day 1.
-
You should try measurement too. I just finished 30DS and though I only lost 4.5 pounds, I lost a total of 12.125 inches and notice a difference in my clothes. I think if I didn't measure I would have been dissapointed.
-
I'm definatley going to have to look into the graphic novels. Forgive me for saying this, but until this group started I honestly didn't realize the show was based on graphic novels. Looks like I have some catching up to do.
-
I'm with you on the animals, I've been warned to keep a box of tissue handy while reading it. That's pretty much the reason I haven't read it yet.
-
Finished 30DS yesterday, but thought I'd post my results. My losses are as follows: Weight: 4.5 pounds Waist: 3.25 in Hips: 2.35 in Chest: 1.5 in Biceps: .7in and 1.2 in Thighs: .75 in and 1.4 in Calf: .75 in and .225 in A grand total of 12.125 inches lost!

D11L3, which is DAY 30!!!! Woohoo I made it!! Congrats to all those who are finishing up today! Those who still have a bit more to go, keep up the great work!! It was amazing shredding with you guys, we rock! I'll be doing my final measurements tomorrow and will post results. For those of you doing Ripped in 30...see you…

Day 29, D10L3. Really didn't want to shred today. I was stubborn yesterday and took apart my old kitchen table, moved it (glass table top and all) and the chairs out to my storage shed. Then assembled my new kitchen table, chairs, and coffee table on my own. Probably shouldn't have done it all in one day, but I wanted to…

Hey Gryffindors! Glad I found you! Checking in. CW: 166 (gained 1.5 pounds, but lost like 2 inches. Really wish my measuring tape and scale would start getting along) OWLS: 800 NEWTS: 30 HP: 510

A few episodes ago the old man and Rick were talking on the porch. The old man was determined that someone was going to find a cure even after Rick told him about the CDC. Either he's trying to find a cure himself, or holding out until someone else does.
