  • I just finished The Fire Eternal (book 4 in Chris D'Lacey's Dragon series) last night and am now in the process of figuring out which book to read next. Water for Elephants, The Book Thief, or The Witch's Boy. I'll read them all eventually, but don't like reading more than one book at a time.
  • Seriously?!? If this show doesn't pull itself together soon I'm done. How many movies do we have to copy? Hmmmm dude wakes up in a hospital alone after the end of the world...28 Days Later (which isn't even a zombie movie), Let's pretend we're zombies to get through a horde...Shaun of the Dead, Creepy dude keeping zombie…
  • Day 28, D9L3. We're almost there, let's do this thing!!!
  • Day 27, D8 L3 all done. Kinda sad it's almost over  . At least I have Ripped in 30 to look forward to.
  • The count down begins! As I much as I love 30DS I am excited to move on to something new.
  • I have this awesome collection my mom got me as a kid. Remember Encyclopedia Brittanica? Well they had an addittional set called the Great Books, it includes everything from Socrates and Plato, to Shakespeare and Voltaire, to Darwin and Marx. It's 60 books total, all hard cover with gorgeous gold lettering. It is one of my…
  • I never liked the idea of an E-reader, in fact it was kind of funny when I moved from Michigan to New Mexico a year and a half ago. My friends were all going to chip in and buy me one, but my two besties were like "she would hate that!" So they used the money to buy me a boat load of Barnes and Nobles gift cards (awesome…
  • I love classics! I have a huge collection. My favs include (but not limited to) Herman Mellvilles Moby D---, Bram Strokers Dracula, Mary Shelley's Frankenstien, the Illiad and the Odessey by Homer, and Dante's Inferno. I could keep going, but you get the jist lol.
  • Since I live alone and cook for just me, I have fallen in love with "The Pleasures of Cooking for One" by Judith Jones. Not only are they smaller recipes, but she tells you how to use leftovers for something else. Like she has a recipe for Rattatouille, and then tell you how to use the leftovers to make a pasta sauce. She…
  • D26, D7L3 is in the books.
  • I'm with you, Ghost Story was ok. It was a bit dull compared with the rest of them, but was still good. I think its purpose might be to set up a whole new direction for the series to take.
  • I love that series, I just finished reading the new one "Ghost Story." It had been a while since I read the whole series, but I was eager to read the new book so now I'll go back and re-read the rest.
  • D26, D6L3. Can't believe we're almost there!
  • Thats a tough one lol. Harry Potter Series Bartimaeus Series by Jonathan Stroud The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher Moby ---- By Herman Mellville - my favorite book of all time (sorry wasn't thinking the title wouldn't be allowed on here, my bad) anything and everything that has to do with zombies

  • Hi my name is Jamie and I'm addicted to reading lol. Besides art, it is probably my favorite pastime. I generally only read 1 book at a time, but I'm an insanely fast reader so it's never an issue. I read whatever sparks my interest at the time, but my favorite genres include urban fantasy, fantasy, and horror. I'm…
  • D24, D5 of L3 done. Threw in a 40 minute kickboxing workout afterwards, I am spent!! And I hate the jumping lunges!!! Mostly because I'm training for roller derby at the moment so my thighs already loathe me entirely, woah buddy those sting!!! There are points where I can almost here my body saying, "Really lady?…
  • I'm hoping this episode was a bit more dull in order to set up a really exciting next episode. Does anyone watch "Talking Dead" after the show? I loved comparing the zombie in a well to a zombie tea bag...gross but great. I would have just shot it, sealed up the well, and moved on with my life...but that's just me. I knew…
  • I'm with the majority here. I couldn't stand him at first, now I adore him! I was truly shocked last episode during the flower scene. When he was telling the legend of the Cherokee Rose, it was definatley a new side of him.

  • This is one of my favorite crats to do, I started a business around it. I tend to use only real stone and gems and focus a lot on the metaphysical properties of the stones and how to match them together to create a piece that is not only pretty but has usefull energies as well.

  • I draw and paint. I love working with charcoals when I draw, and oil paints when I paint. I find, for me, they are much more expressive. I have a tendency to use my hands alot too, must have really enjoyed finger painting as a kid cause I can't seem to break the habbit lol.
  • A lot of my paintings tend to dark, but thats because I have a tendency to paint when I'm angry or upset or depressed. It's like I put all that negativity on a canvas and get it out of me. I also find that I'm happiest when I'm creating.
  • Hi all! My name is Jamie, and I love doing anything creative. I draw, oil paint, do ceramics, and do amateur photography. I like to mess around with make up affects, hence the weird profile pic. I also make jewelry out of natural stone, create glass mosaics, crochet, and have a tendency to throw together things that look…
  • My name is Jamie I'm 29, originally from Michigan now in New Mexico. I have always (for as long as anyone can remember) been into art. I'm mostly self taught, did take a few courses in college just to work on my technique. I dable in a bit of everything. I draw, do oil paintings, ceramics, and just started getting into…

  • D22 done, D3L3. Almost there guys!!!
  • Jumped to L3 1 day early. D20 and D21 done, D1L3 and D2L3. Strange as it may sound, but I think I like L3 the best.
  • D19 done, D9L2. These plank poses are starting to irritate my wrist, not unbearably so but enough to be annoying. Moving on to L3 soon. Hoping to be able to work out this weekend, but I'm doing a craft fair all day tomorrow and a running a booth at a charity event all day Sunday. Hopefully will have a spark of evergy left…
  • This is one of the few shows I watch regularly, I think I might have a nerd crush on Sheldon lol (I mean Bazinga!). Two of my friends were Sheldon and Amy for Halloween, it was classic.
  • Just finished D18, D8L2. Two more days and I'm on to L3.
  • Days 16 and 17 done, D6 and 7 L2. Still not feeling very well, but trying my hardest to keep up.
