After dropping a bunch of weight from being sick, I've now gained some of it back. Weigh in is at 176, thats a gain of 2.5 lbs. :sad:

Go team!! Too bad today doesn't count, me and the dogs walked about 4 miles today including a trip to the dog park. Oh, well I guess we'll have to go to the dog park again (I'm sure they'll be upset lol).

Its a recent addition to my routine. Just moved to an area with a dog park in walking distance. Figured it would be a good break from the gym to walk to boys to the park, play for a bit, walk home. I was doing some research and most sites say on average you burn 115 calories per half hour playing with dogs.

Question: does anyone ever log in excercise for playing with the dogs. I take my dogs to the dog park a couple times a week and romp and run with them. I work up a good sweat too, but there's nothing in excercise for playing with the fur babies. Any suggestions? Or am I not supposed to log stuff like that?

When I altered my excercise routine to be a bit more intense, I was either not losing weight at all or actually gaining. But, people were noticing I was losing weight and my clothes were getting loser even without pounds coming off. I definatley agree that it's probably a bit of muscle gain. Sorry didn't post earlier. Weigh in is at 173.5. I'm down 4.5 pounds since last week which seems a lot but I've been sick the past few days with some type of stomach but so that's probably why.

I go to planet fitness and get a good work out without grunting or being judged for not working hard enough. The PF I go to has classes though with a personal trainer for free. And I love the circuit training.
