I buy a big pack (10-20) of chicken thighs at Costco or a grocery store and bake them on a broiler pan (or cookie rack on top of a cookie sheet) to remove excess fat while it cooks. I toss one or two into my lunch every day. Low calories, healthy. Should be between $10-$20 depending on where you shop and size of package.…

I used Chantix for 2 1/2 weeks and haven't had a cig in almost 8 years. Gained some weight from a desk job as well as 'using food' to replace the smokes. Hence, my presence here. :D It takes 3 days to get the nicotine out of your system. After that, it's all will power. Good luck! You'll thank yourself as time moves on.

My wife didn't see too much progress in the first 6 weeks , weight-loss-wise. However, after that the pounds started dropping off. Stay diligent.

I have a desk job. I keep unsalted almonds in my desk drawer and carrot/celery sticks in my lunch bag. I try to go for a walk on one or both of my 15 minute breaks. On occasion I will indulge in a homemade goodie that someone brings but it's few and far between. Common sense, will power and gym. Good luck.

Telling someone to go away because they love cats..... makes me want to say to you... 'Go Away'. I have a black lab- she's my baby. No cats but I love 'em too. The last 2 years have been the first time in my life where I haven't owned a cat.
