Good for you for taking the steps to get him along the right path to health. I was an overweight child and my mom was a single mom...bought what was cheap (processed foods) and as a result, I was overweight. I wish she would have taken a stand like you are... Your son will thank you for it one day!

I'm currently on a 1200 calorie a day diet. I cycle my calories (not daily but weekly). I find that if i hit a bump in the road i drop down to 1200 and make sure I'm very light on carbs/high on protein then when that stalls out, I switch back to 1500 or so a day. I agree with the above poster. Your body will always flucuate. I'll go down 3-4 lbs...stay there for a bit...gain 2 which i know isn't fat because there is no way...then it will move again. All depends on certain things like my sodium intake, time of the month for the ladies, etc. Try not to live by the scale.

Well ... a lot of adults have full time jobs and kids to come home to. So by the time you bathe said kids, bedtime routine, etc... exercise.. there is 20 minutes left before my head hits the pillow. 20 minutes a night..maybe 45 on a good night...ya, a week sounds right!

1 cup whole wheat 1 cup milk (I use skim or almond) 1 egg 1 tsp baking powder 3 tbsp flax Dash of vanilla if you choose. You can also mix in some blueberries or a banana... super yummy, low cal. EASY!

Me too but not to the point where it would be classified as an eating disorder. I remember reading on WW when I was on their plan to save some points if you were planning on drinking. I think this new term drunkorexia is meant for people who are constantly eating little to no food in order to drink their faces off!
