YES!!! All of this!!! use a scale to weigh everything that goes into your mouth. Log it, be honest, eat what you want. This is a lifestyle change, not a diet with an end date. If you can not give up ice cream forever, work it into your calories and macros. so you don't binge.

My motivation, I just want to be better. I want my exterior to match my interior. I feel awesome on the inside, but look like crap on the outside. I need to be around as long as possible for my daughter. I sat up a reward system. For every 25lbs I lose, I get something that is just for me.

I accept anyone that wants to be my friend. I do prefer a quick message when people send a request, but don't decline if they don't. ETA: but if they turn out to be whiny, woe is me types, fad diet pushers, or become inactive for over a month I delete them.

weight fluctuates day to day, hour to hour, hell minute to minute. If you are weighing yourself daily you have to take it in stride. I personally like to weigh daily, but I only record when there is a new low. If you can not handle it try to do every other day or weekly.

Truth, I would have been gone. I digress, it seems he's jealous and insecure. If you really love him and think he's worth sticking around for then counseling is the best option in my opinion.

As long as you're in caloric deficit you can essentially eat what you want in moderation. Buy a food scale, weigh and log EVERYTHING that goes into your mouth. Logging is tedious, but you get used to it, and it's an indispensable tool for tracking your progress and making adjustments. There is no magic quick fix, losing…
