NOT accurate. I lied and said 170 lbs back when I weighed ~220-230 lbs because it used to say 150 lbs (an even bigger lie) and I thought this new weight sounded more believable. Now I weigh 142 lbs so it's way off again. I was pretty excited when I finally weighed less than my driver's license weight lol. When I renew my…

I don't log my gum, but I can see how it can be a slippery slope like the other poster said. It's probably smart to play it safe.

I started at a size 16-18 (weighing 225 lbs) and I had to lose around 40 lbs to get down to a size 14. Once I reached a size 12 (around 160-170 lbs) the sizes just flew off every 10-15 lbs or so. Now I wear a size 6 at 142 lbs. When I was bigger, the sizes were more forgiving as my weight fluctuated.

You shouldn't weigh yourself everyday if you want an accurate reading of your weight. Our weight tends to fluctuate a lot, so you shouldn't be concerned about losing 2 lbs in 2 days. It was likely water weight (which can also drop off due to an extreme diet change). You should be OK. Weigh yourself once a week if you want…

I try to weigh once a week. Sometimes I do it less often, sometimes more. I don't like doing it everyday because my weight fluctuates and when it goes up that really bums me out.

Add me too! I love using this site to keep me on track and motivated, and I try my best to help others too

I'm 5'4" and I set my goal weight at the highest healthy BMI weight -145 lbs. I reached goal not that long ago, and I am happy where I am. I started at 225 lbs. I have an hourglass shape and I wear a US size 6-8 (due in part to vanity sizing lol). It's up to what you're comfortable with, though. I'd personally recommend…

I'm 5'4". My initial goal weight was 145 lbs, but I am probably going to lower it to 135-140 lbs. I'm at 149 lbs now, and I am not quite where I want to be. 145 lbs sounded a lot tinier when I weighed 225. I have wider hips and a larger body frame. I wear a size 8.

Wearing a size small has done wonders for my vanity, but it doesn't feel like I earned it :P

I used to be "too fat" and now I'm "too skinny". At 149 lbs, I'm hardly skinny, but people will find something wrong with you no matter what. I also agree that it seems as though Americans have a warped sense of a "normal size". I am just noticing this now that I'm closer to a healthy size, though. I wear a size SMALL.…

I agree. I allow myself a small portion of the foods I love. I tried the low carb diet for awhile, but it didn't really work out because of the restriction. I have to admit, though, that starting a low carb diet and then allowing myself a more diverse and well proportioned diet later has helped me with cravings. This is a…

I like the list. I don't really like protein bars that much, but I approve of everything else. Healthy snacks are hard to come by!

I've heard that before, too. I just used it as a guideline to determine my "goal weight", and I'll adjust my healthy weight once I get closer to goal.

225 lbs is my heaviest. I hope to NEVER be in the 200's ever again. I'm currently at 168 lbs, and my "goal weight" is 145 lbs. Once I get to 145, I'll decide if I want to go lower (probably will). Baby steps :)

Pictures like these really inspire me. You look amazing! Good job :)

Chocolate. Even a tiny bit has a lot of calories and sometimes puts me over my daily calorie limit :/. I love chocolate in its many forms: hot chocolate, chocolate candy, chocolate cookies, chocolate ice cream...

I started my weight loss journey at 225 and now am halfway to goal at 183. I feel more comfortable now, but when I was pushing 230 I felt incredibly uncomfortable in my own skin. I hated how I fit in my clothes, how I couldn't cross my legs like a lady, my thunder thighs, my two chins, feeling ungraceful and dumpy. I…

How inspirational :) WTG!

Congrats :) I was so happy when I made it to Onederland. It made my goal weight seem so much closer :)

I don't have a goal size because of vanity sizing. Sizes are all over the place in different stores. My 16's are baggy now that I've lost 40 lbs, but I guess my real size is much larger.
