I'm 5'1, started at 132 and am currently 119. My GW was originally 110, but I changed it to 115 because I am already super happy with my body and don't think I need to lose another 10#. I'm already focusing more on my overall health and fitness than on the number on the scale.

I saw it at Super Target yesterday :)

I started out at the high end of a healthy weight, so all the weight I've lost has taken a long time! It probably took me 4 months to lose the first 10. Speed of weight loss is highly dependent on your current weight and how much water you retain. As I'm at a very healthy weight right now, I'm focusing more on my body…

I just had it for the first time last night (I got the Friendship no-added-sodium variety) and really liked it with Trader Joe's low sugar blueberry preserves, ground flax seed, and blueberries mixed in.

White fish (flounder, tilapia) Chicken breast Eggs/egg whites Tofu Plain nonfat Greek yogurt 1% cottage cheese (no salt added) Whey protein powder Veggie burgers Quinoa (more carbs here but they are complex/GOOD!)

I use a variety of different weights depending on the move! Sometimes just a single 5# weight (like for the side lunges in level 1, I am SO weak in that part of my body that one 5# is about all I can do), sometimes two 8#ers, but usually two 5#ers.

I did it from Nov-Dec and just started another round -- it is definitely a great workout and WILL change your body drastically if you eat clean!
-
Quinoa for sure - it's a complete protein! Couscous is basically just little balls of pasta.

I got a Keurig for Christmas, too! I only use it for coffee and I usually add some almond milk & stevia. I just bought a carton of hazelnut coconut milk creamer (20 cal/T) which I'll try for the first time tomorrow.

Thanks everyone! I am thinking about doing Ripped in 30 next :)

Yes, abs are in each circuit and some of them include sit ups/crunches. There are modifications for all of the moves, but I guess in your case a modified sit up is still a sit up.

Fixed them!

I am 5'1 and 121 lbs and I read somewhere (can't remember the site now, sorry!) that I burn almost 400 in 60 minutes. I always go to an 8am class and find that eating beforehand makes me feel sick. Make sure you are well hydrated BEFORE you get there and bring a big water bottle with you to drink from during and after…

bump!

I log it as Circuit Training, 20 minutes. I don't count the warm up/cool down. I'm almost done with Level 2 -- It definitely makes me work my butt off every day!

This!!

I've actually read that many people do give their dogs an egg yolk every day, supposedly it makes their coats very nice! I'd only do it every day if you have a healthy-weight, larger dog, maybe a few times a week for a smaller dog. I buy egg whites in the carton just because I can't justify wasting so much of an actual egg!

I feel your pain...stores around here never carry the largest sized tubs of Fage or Chobani so I can't even get more bang for my buck that way. I don't eat regular yogurt, only Greek...I kind of just suck it up, but I'm only buying for myself so it's not *as* bad.

I run laps around my apartment complex -- 1 lap = .4 miles (I measured it with my car). It's a pretty boring "route," but the roads outside the complex are pretty busy and scary to run along (even with a sidewalk it makes me nervous at intersections). I usually run 3-4 miles 3x a week and 5-6 miles 2x a week. If it hasn't…

I'm putting off writing like 3 papers and a lesson plan (I'm in grad school for elementary ed). I usually procrastinate by working out, grocery shopping, or going to bed (like I'm about to do). How did I get an undergraduate degree again?!?

I just found this a few days ago (focuses mainly on obliques) most of the positions are standing. http://weightingaway.tumblr.com/post/11989020434/love-handle-workout

Coffee coffee coffee! The magic combination seems to be a big mug of it and a giant glass of water first thing in the morning. Also make sure you're getting plenty of fiber from whole grains, fruits, and veggies.

I'm 5'1, I started at 132ish, am now 123ish, and my goal is between 110-115 (fit & toned).

Try adding some cinnamon or other spice when you eat it with apples! SO GOOD!

I don't think I'll be participating in the challenge, but I just wanted to say that I love that there's a website called NerdFitness.com. A+.

Could you just take the extra supplements after lunch or dinner?

Special K Protein Plus (13g protein in 1 cup!) w/ fruit and unsweetened almond milk. Bob's Red Mill high fiber or oat bran hot cereal with some stevia and cinnamon or nuts and fruit.

There's nothing "wrong" with canned chicken, but it is crammed with sodium! I used to eat it, then switched to cooking chicken breasts in my crock pot and shredding them up to use instead. It is much healthier and more cost-effective :) edit: D'OH, didn't read the "can't refrigerate" part of your post - sorry! For…

I eat Special K Protein Plus cereal for breakfast nearly every day. It's pretty bland, but packs a decent amount of protein, is low-carb for a cereal, and is good with fresh berries. The amount of carbs alone in the Slim Fast and Sp.K shakes is ridiculous. I tried the Sp.K fruit crisps while visiting my parents last…

Running has been the most effective exercise for me :)
