@kingers0 First of all Congratulations on hitting your goal weight! That alone is a great accomplishment. If you want to replace “flab for lean muscle” Begin to cut out all processed food. My motto is “If you can kill it or grow it, eat it” If the food isnt 1 ingredient only, its processed, so please cut it out. Ex: cut…

My motivation is my daughter. She’s 6yrs old and an equestrian also. Just watching how much she has learned in 1 yr of riding x 3 days a week is amazing. So I decided that I needed to be strong and healthy for her and for me too.

@carylamodia thank you for the kind words! I know if you set your mind to it, don’t make excuses and trust the process, you will be amazed how fast 1 yr goes by. One year ago today is actually the day I made a commitment to myself to give it my all to become the best I can be and I don’t regret it one bit.

@chasitystiff2153 I’m carb cycling the whole week. I do low carb 4 days (2 workout days and 2 rest days), and medium carb 3 times a week on my heavy lifting days.

After many failed attempts to go to the gym on my own. I decided to invest$$$ in a personal trainer. I found one with great energy and that really took the time to listen to my goals and explain to me without jumping in over my head so I wouldn’t get overwhelmed. I started with 2 (1hr)sessions then upgraded to 3 sessions.…

Indeed it is a little frustrating but I try not to jump on the scale often. I go more by how I look in the mirror and in my clothes.

Hip thrusts, glute bridges, single leg kickbacks!

This past year I can say I’ve put my best efforts in going to the gym consistently 3-5days a week, reducing processed foods and keeping myself accountable with tracking my meals. I feel stronger, more energized, happier and more confident in my own skin. My only regret was I wished I started younger.

I started with my maintenance calories which is 1890, maybe a little more during the winter to gain some muscle. But now I’m trying to lean out for the summer so I’m at 1400-1500 calories. I’m also trying to eat low carbs on my days off.
