    Good Evening Team πŸŒƒ

On January 12 I have an appointment with a Gastroenterologist who will perform a surgical procedure related to my colon: this is follow up procedure from abnormal results from colon testing.

Then later in mid January is my surgery related to Melanoma cancer and re-construction surgery. The Melanoma will be cleared and first have of reconstruction begins. A very complex surgery!

Would appreciated your prayers. Will keep you updated as I know more later! πŸ™πŸ˜Š

    Update on my Surgery

January 12th I am scheduled for my Colon Surgical procedures which require me to have an anesthetic, they are doing two procedures that day, feel there is a blockage, with previous tests it could be a mass or polyps but they won't know till they do a scope...After they see what it is they will remove it and follow up with a colonoscopy to make sure all obstructions are removed.

This procedure all depends on whether the hospital can receive patients due to many operating rooms closed, not enough beds and not enough Doctors and Nurses to cover patient care due to increased Covid cases here.

Thank you for your love care and prayer support...β€οΈπŸ™πŸ€—

Praying for your procedure. I have had several polyps removed during prior colonoscopies and have a colonoscopy scheduled the first part of the year. We can support one another as we go through similar procedures. It would be wonderful if the doctors do not find anything! God is the great physician.

    Just want to update you:

I am having my surgical procedures on January 12th at 9:30am having a anesthetic due to having 2 procedures and removal of a mass that is causing obstruction and if polyps found they will be removed also. after scope it’s being followed up with a colonoscopy! They are concerned as with already dealing with cancer they trust it is not colon cancer!

Thanks for your prayers; so appreciated!

I will be away from Wednesday to Friday…

Susan will watch over the team in my absence!

I will try and sign in on the weekend…

Praying for you, Judith. I too have gone through colonoscopies and polyp removals. They find some every time. Praying yours is not cancer but if so, at least they can treat you for it. I know many bowel cancer survivors, including my sister. They should be able to help! πŸ™πŸ’πŸ’–

Hello to all who know 316Judith

Judith had her surgery on Wednesday where they removed tissue and polyps. Results won't be back for 2-3 weeks

Thursday was a high pain day and her blood pressure also ran high.

Friday was a bit better for her but she needs time to rest and recover.

Judith thinks she will be back at MFP this coming Monday. She thanks all who are praying for her and sends her love to you all.

Get well soon, Judith! I am praying for you. Xxx

Hello my friends. Judith is still in much pain. She tells me she has specialist appointments, both in person and via teleconference, every day for the next week. She may come back to Chat Cafe on Tuesday now and it will take awhile longer for her to regain some stamina. Her biopsy results are not due back for 2-3 weeks so she doesn't know if this, too, is cancer or not.

Please keep her in your daily prayers.

News from Judith: she is still recovering from the colon surgery. They have delayed her the Melanoma and facial reconstruction surgery for another two months, again.πŸ˜₯

She feels she can come back to chat tomorrow! Easy does it though. I think she will only post in this thread.

Praying for her πŸ™ and sending lots of love πŸ’–πŸ˜˜

    Good Morning Susan and Team

Thank you so much for your encouragement and your faithful prayers. You all are so appreciated in which I thank God!

So sorry it has taken longer for me to get back. I have had a lot of pain and been careful in how much I do as my Blood Pressure has been high too.

I saw my Family Doctor on Wednesday, January 19th. She is very concerned about my weight, 97 pounds and as low as 95 pounds since surgical procedures.

She is also upset with facial surgery cancelled again for another 2 months. She has referred me to see a Internal Medicine Specialist as she feels more is going on.

I also got a referral back to Vancouver General Hospital regarding the haemorrhoids that were found during colon surgery. They are mostly inward which are causing more issues, they will need to be surgically removed or banded! This is why they are sending me to a surgeon to assess the approach in how to remove.

The pathology report should be back this week. Will keep you posted. God’s Blessings! β€οΈπŸ™

I am so sorry that they found more problems than you knew about during the procedures. At least you know about it now and it can be treated. If left unattended, the situation could get worse. There can be good come out of really difficult situations.
