I am so excited to find this board. I have been stressing about pregnancy weight gain. I already struggle with my weight thanks to a thyroid condition and am a little overweight. I want to be as healthy as possible for baby and I got the green light from my doc to continue my running for as long as its comfortable for me! I look forward to learning from you ladies

Welcome! Don't stress too much about weight gain if you're exercising and eating well. Sometimes, you just can't control it. Just remember that eating well and being active is best for you and baby, and let the chips fall where they may!

Congratulations! I love running, and still do at 16wks but not as long as I was able to before being pregnant.
MFP should defiantly give you an extra boost of staying on track and healthy.0 -
Congrats and welcome! Good for you for staying on the health track. I had to stop running because of my back but keep at it as long as possible! I still walk and half-*kitten* jog when I can. It's the best feeling and I've heard baby likes the cradling/rocking feeling it offers0
