I'm going to be home next month and thought I should try to be active...to offset the damage I'm gonna end up doing at The Fair. Anyone else interested?

I should be home the 17th-29th and found these real quick on runnersworld. If there are other runs/walks, post them and we'll get moving together!

    I'm in for the Snail Run. It's $27 dollars and 30 days out so I'd have plenty of time to prepare. I know that area well and there's only 1 small hill - should be a breeze.

    WE will need a team name for our running around town shirts! lol I love mapping 5ks! They should let me design a race! Seriously...I come up with the stupidest routes ever and hate myself while doing them! lol

    All those sound good. Let me know what you sign-up for I may join ya. Always good to meet new people and don't worry I am not an advid runner so I will not be going fast either. I am doing my first 10K however September 1.

    Tickets jumped up $150-200, so I'm gonna price compare all weekend...and then I'll register for one of these.

    Not gonna lie, the beer runs are calling my name...but that may be because I'll be starting a 3 week vacation

    Let me know which when you guys are doing. I am not sure if I would be ready to do a 5k by then but I would love to give it a shot. I walked my first 5k in May and did great. Better start running now :)

    Hey, we're not looking at this to be an Olympic time trial...I have a feeling if enough of us show up, it will be a nice, leisurely jog with a lot of blabbing happening. I'll probably even trip once or twice.

    Plus, if you can get a 5k under your belt now, how awesome will you feel?!

    I would feel amazing if I could do it! Ok count me in, it will be a good test for me. Plus if I pass out at least there will be enough people around that someone would at least kick me off to the side of the path so others can get through!
