my doctor said horseback riding didn't count as exercise...

but i shot his reasoning down real quick and gave him a good "kiss my *kitten*" stare.

    Good for you! Yeah, its not exercise. Thats why when I ride, especially when I am schooling a horse, my entire body hurts!!! What a ding dong!
  • Apparently your doc doesn't ride. Maybe you should invite them out? Thankfully my physician does or did :smile:

    It is awesome core work and I am physically exhausted when Maria and I are done working. I am still counting it as exercise, if yoga counts so does riding!

    My doc rides too - theres no way she would say it isnt excersise - I am wiped out this evening - combination of 3 hour hack and all that fresh air - what could be better??

  • Hahahahaa, a few of my male friends also gave me the "Horseback Riding shouldn't be in the Olympics because it isn't even a sport"..

    10 minutes on my horse and they were sweating buckets and soon apologizing.

    Oh and seeing them waddle after they dismounted was incredibly satisfying ahahaa.
