Day 6 - Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Well, It's 7:10 on Saturday morning and I am FINISHED with day 6! I must say that I am NOT a morning person. My goal was to get up before the kids and knock it out so I have the whole weekend for a break because we are going away for a couple of days. I'm not 100% sure that was the best idea. My muscles are really tired today and I didn't eat anything yet because I was afraid I would get sick. I felt pretty weak for most of the workout but overall I think I am improving. I may throw in a cardio recovery tonight or tomorrow morning just to keep me stretching and moving. I don't want to feel like a lump on Monday.
Have a great weekend!!!
P.S. 2 days off = Happy Birthday to me!!!

Yay! And Happy Birthday! I have a house guest so definitely don't want to do it with them around so I get to wait until after I get off work at 8pm! Yikes! Normally, I try and do it in the morning before everyone gets up I feel like I can do it decently enough. I heard some people eat a little peanut butter for a little boost to help out beforehand.0

Thanks! I hope I can avoid the cake!!!
I don't always have time in the morning but I hate waiting till night time to exercise. My kids nap time is ideal for me. I will try the peanut butter though. Sounds like a good idea. Thanks!0 -
I'm actually going to do this one tomorrow. I took my rest day today since we are camping. I feel like a lazy bum! I'm going to need to go for a nice walk or something. I just received the HR Monitor that I bought so I'm excited to see what the monitor says vs what MFP says for burned calories.
Strikermiz- Happy Birthday and way to get it out of the way first thing! Have fun!0 -

I also took a rest day today too! I plan on going running early in the morning and then doing the plyo when I get home. I also felt SO lazy. lol. But we did 5 days in a row, that is pretty darn awesome!0 -
I will NEVER, EVER wait until the end of the day to do this again. I have worked from 12-9:30 today and then got to it. I felt exhausted, and tired, and less than what I could have been had I done it this morning. Never again!!! lol0

Happy Birthday and sorry you felt so weak waiting until evening. Unfortunately I have no choice on weekdays but to wait until evening to workout... but I sure do sleep sound. Weekdays are tough for me and I usually run off just 4hrs of sleep night... by Friday I am exhausted, so trying to get my rest day to be scheduled on Fridays.. which means my daughter and I didn't take yesterday as a rest day as we should have per the calendar. It may take a couple weeks to get the schedule moved around, but I am so dead from lack of sleep by Friday that it makes my heart rate monitor alarm go off way too often from pushing... oy! Loving the adrenaline rush from pushing through this program though!!!0

Happy Birthday! I just did this one today and although I stopped more frequently than I did the first time, I was able to keep up with pace a lot more and my "breaks" were shorter!
I burned less calories, but I also think that's because my legs are pretty much burnt out so I couldn't go as hard for as long like I could the first time when I was "fresh".
I took my rest day Sunday so I am going straight into week 2 tomorrow!
Keep it up ladies!!0
