And I'm shopping for a new espresso maker again...the coffee curse continues...

I haven't been able to make coffee in a month every cup I make is gross but my husbands are good. So I cleaned the coffee maker and the espresso maker and now the espresso maker is kaputt, died, a thing of the past, it won't but drip water. So I need a new one, stat! In the past, I'd bought the $35 one and it's lasted a year. This time I bought the $70 model and it lasted 2 yrs....I see the trend. So I'm looking for a ~5 yr espresso maker, I don't care if it's the espresso/coffee maker in one(I have yet to try to make a pot, that maybe dead too). But I need an espresso maker! Anyone have one that they just love? Or seen any really good deals anywhere?

Thanks for your help

I wish I could help you. a good espresso machine is NOT cheap, so I never bothered to even look at them because I am a student so for now its not even an option.
  • I got my Hamilton beach espresso maker for about $40 at Wal Mart. It runs well and is very no-frills. It helps that I have worked in several coffee shops and knew what i was doing. But it seems to work great I have had mine for about 2 years, check it out because mine is still going strong after almost daily use!
