 Start Monday, August 13th (Bella and Edward's 6 year wedding anniversary)
and ends Sunday, August 19th.

This week's challenge includes:

:drinker: Water
64 ounces day (can include any non alcoholic/caffeine free beverage as a substitute for 16 ounces of the 64 daily in this challenge)

:glasses: Cardio
109 sparkly minutes for the week (sure glad we aren't using Aro's age to set the pace!)

 Special exercise. Crunches 96
8 sets of 12 (To work off those hunting calories from Edward's bachelor party on August 12)

 Food
Stay within your calorie allottment for the week. Banked calories are to be used within the same week earned. For example, say that Monday and Wednesday, you have calories left over, on Friday you are going out to eat, and know you will eat more than usual. Save the banked calories for your dining out experience. ( not all people are comfortable with banking, if this causes concern, simply disregard and stick with your daily goals).

 NSV - share one NSV with your vampy team members or if an NSV just doesnt come to mind, please share a quote from one of Stephanie's books that you enjoy.

Let's all report back here throughout the week on our progress.

Ladies, on your mark, get set, GO!

Ready to go. Crunch question though - can it be any kind of crunches? I'm doing deep water aerobics tomorrow night & we do a ton there, and was wondering if I was allowed to count them

Personally, I don't think we need to get too technical with what is considered a crunch or any other exercise we choose for future weeks. We're all adults with common sense, and as long as you're doing something that you feel constitutes the basic exercise, then I vote that it counts.

So then would eating crunchy food count as crunches because I have got that covered, lol:laugh:

    Happy Monday ya'll!

    Day one progress:

It was so hard not to overeat at the wedding anniversary party, but as usual Alice saw that the guests would need some variety and planned beautifully.
The lovely couple looked so young, as if they just graduated high school! Renesme is so precious! It was good to,see everyone.

I managed to pull myself away, and got home in time to do my 12 sets of 8 crunches, ( i do mine on my fitness ball, so its kind of a pelvic tilt, crunch combo, nothing like getting double workout for your effort!) and got a nice 30 minute walk in.

    Water 1/7
    Food (343 in the bank)
    Cardio 30/109
    Crunches 96/96

NO NSV to share yet, but I sure hope to have a loss by the end of the week!

    Day 1

    Water 10/8
Food 86 calories in the bank
    Cardio 60/109 minutes
    Crunches 48/96

NSV -- I got weighted and measured at Curves today. In the last month I've lost 3/4 in from my waist, 1 in from my hips, and a 1/2 in from my upper arm. But the best part was when the lady took my blood pressure she had a hard time putting the cuff on and said she needed to use a smaller cuff on me.

    Quote --
    "How strong will I be?'
    "Stronger than I am."
    "Stronger than Emmett?"
"Do me a favor and challenge him to an arm-wrestling match. It would be a good experience for him."
    Eclipse, Chapter 14, p.317

I can't wait to see Bella beat Emmett in that arm wrestling match!

Remember, you need a strong core for arm-wrestling, so do those crunches!

    Cardio 85 minutes

No NSV so here is a quote from the one we all want to hear from the most.

“Do I dazzle you?" I voiced my curiosity impulsively, and then the words were out, and it was too late to recall them.
But before I had time to too deeply regret speaking the words aloud, she answered "Frequently." And her cheeks took on a faint pink glow.
    I dazzled her.
My silent heart swelled with a hope more intense than I could ever remember having felt before.” ~ Edward in Midnihgt Sun

    341 in the bank
    100% crunches

Oh Mindy and Shell, I am DAZZLED!   He can look at me like I'm something to eat any time!

    Day 2

    Water 12/8 + 10/8
Food I haven't closed out my diary yet, so this might change but so far 171 calories in the bank + 86 = 257 Which is good because tomorrow I've got a splurge planned.
    Cardio 43 + 60 = 103 /109 minutes
    Crunches 48 + 48= 96 /96

“I stared into her eyes, wide under the thick fringe of lashes, and yearned for sleep. Not for oblivion, as I had before, not to escape boredom, but because I wanted to *dream*. Maybe, if I could be unconscious, if I could dream, I could live for a few hours in a world where she and I could be together. She dreamed of me. I wanted to dream of her.”
