Hi All,

I tried to change my fitness goals to 2 lbs/week, exercising 5 days a week for 35 min. and was given 1200 calories, 1100 exercise goal with an estimated weight loss of 6.2 lbs by Sept. 21 not 10. Am I doing something wrong?

I hope its possible as I'm right there alongside you! I joined this week. Getting married in six weeks so need to lose 10lb by 21 September for the dress to fit! MFP doesnt like us to overdo it so wont let you go for 2lb per week - just like all the medical advice they think 1.5lb is more sensible. I suppose that why its a pal!

I just see what the bit at the end of each day's log says about 'if every day were like today'. It says if I go on like today I'll do it - and then prods me for eating too few calories but hey, its only for a few weeks! After that I'll get back to regular eating - but less than in the old days so's I don't have to do this crash stuff again.

    Good luck.

Thanks and I agree with you that I could follow the "if every day was like today" tag to reach 10 lbs by Sept. 21.

Best wishes on your upcoming wedding. How exciting!

if your activity level is sedentary then no matter how much you work out it says you can only lose a pound a week. I bet if you work your *kitten* off you could do 2 though
