How many of these things have YOU said? I've said probably 97% of this stuff... haha  Very true.

    Hahah.

    "I'm never gonna get married."
    And
    "Oh my God, ew."

That's pretty funny, but not me at all. Maybe because I was married for 10 years.

That's hilarious. I've said probably 50-60% of that I'd guess. Just what is a dreamboard? I particularly LOVED the "Guys are intimidated by me" and "I hate Valentine's Day" lines...but the best was "I think I saw that guy on OK Cupid", hahaha......Now I'm ready for a Girls Night or maybe I just want to get banged, HA!

I wondered the same thing. LOL! Glad I'm not the only one.

When did Wed night turn into girls night? I actually want to know because that is the night my friends and I usually have our girls margarita night so it is true for me. :)
I have seen this before and probably can say I have said 90% of it at one point or another.

A dreamboard is a tool used in the law of attraction. You make a collage of picture of things you want and then you focus your energy on it everyday so it manifests in your life eventually.

Interesting and scary that women would take that time... no wonder men think we're obsessive! Maybe I've unintentionally put something together that indicates I want a player?!

And MissingMinnesota, Wednesday is the night historically that bars do Ladies Night, giving ridiculous drink prices just to get people in the door since it was dead that night otherwise. About 10 years ago I was definitely in a party phase and had a standing Wednesday appt with my girls to hit a different bar each week....a lot of places did 5 cent first drinks! I miss some of those crazy days but also had a job where I had Thursday off so staying out until 2 AM close was no biggie... can't say I miss that part, haha!

Wow, I had no idea what a dreamboard was, either. Kind of like cutting pictures of River Phoenix out of Tiger Beat in 4th grade? He was dreamy....

That was a cute youtube, and I especially enjoyed the drag element- might not have been so cute, otherwise. I've said maybe 60-70% of those things, but not so much in the last 10 years. I work with two very young girls/women , and it was like having a conversation with one of them. They're fun.

Dare I ask what the "law of attraction" is?

Ever heard of the book or documentary "The Secret"? The law of attraction is the belief that what you think, feel, and surround yourself with is what you bring into your life. It has a lot to do with positive thinking. I believe in it to an extent. Learning about it has definitely made me a more positive person. I would suggest checking it out.

Not sure I understand the exact meaning you give to each word in your sentence, but people naturally tend to go towards and interact with the happy/uplifting people rather than depressed people.
Humans are just drawn to happiness naturally.

Hey now, I have a dream board for weight loss. lol Okay,. it is more of a board with messages telling me to get off my fat *kitten* and stop making excuses. bahahahaha

OK, Megs, I can see that. I more meant for women related to dating. The weightloss one is for you specifically... the dating one is about another person. It just comes across sounding like a woman is desperately trying to visualize her perfect man, as if that will make him appear. I do believe there is something to be said for positive thinking, but I'm not sure about the dating thing with a dreamboard...sounds like the Frankenstein approach to choosing a mate.
