I would like to get a good sports bra for when i work out but since I am nursing a baby I would rather wear a nursing bra. Is there such a thing as a nursing sports bra or do i just have to get a regular sports bra. Any recommendations on a good sports bra for a larger chested woman?

I haven't found a nursing sports bra. There are some nursing bras that look more like sports bras (one piece, no cups, racer back) but for me they don't provide enough support for tough workouts (especially running). I've been using a regular sports bra just when working out.

One caution if you are just starting to wear a sports bra while nursing, I recommend taking it off as soon as you've finished working out. I was have recurring breast infections despite doing everything suggested by my doctor and lactation consultant. I did some internet research and found that some women get breast infections from breast compression (like a sports bra). Since I started changing my bra immediately after a workout (because I don't often get to shower immediately after working out) I haven't had another infection.

Some of the girls in my breastfeeding group have said that Nordstroms (sp?) will convert any bra into a bursing bra for a fee.

I ebded up buying the moving comfort fiona sports bra. Its not officially a nursing bra but the straps can be unhooked in the front so it works as a nursing bra. So far I am very happy with it. It has great support and can be used as a nursing bra too.

www.cottonbabies.com has some nursing sports bras but I have to tell you they are not the most supportive. They are great for walking but nothing higher impact. YOu could probably layer them with a nursing tank for a little added support.

i got one at motherhood maternity....

i also got a normal sports bra from walmart that was just two separate cups but its easy to pull to one side or the other to feed her but normally i just wear a regular one and pull it down or change back to my normal clothes before i need to feed her again.

i have this one from target too but to me its a little more like a nursing bra than it is a sports bra though
