After yesterday's report that the 24-year history of Nintendo Power was coming to an end, Nintendo has confirmed that the December 2012 issue will be the magazine's last. "Nintendo can confirm that Future US will end the production of Nintendo Power magazine with the last issue slated for December 2012,"

    I am kind of sad

    then I remembered the magazine was a cheerleader and pretty much praised ANYTHING and EVERYTHING put out for a Nintendo system... so it was ACTUALLY pretty awful if you think about it, very misleading & incredibly bias magazine [more bias then any other official mag I read].

    Superman 64 was the lowest scoring game to come out on the N64 that was reviewed in Nintendo Power... it got a 4.7/10 [just below average]

    But the is no denying the nostalgia that comes with it, but the magazine lost all it's charm years ago & the age of print is pretty much over and done with.

    AWE! That makes me sad as well. I complely agree that is was a publication to publicise the over commercialized nintendo product..... but as I write this I look down to see that I am wearing a nintendo controller shirt.

    Even though it was basically an advertisement for its own products, it was a pretty good mag. I remember back in the day every hint in that thing would be for romance of the three kingdoms. I always wanted to get that, but I ended up getting maniac mansion.

    Before the internet was the default source for everything sometimes you could only find things in Nintendo Power.
