Weaning the foal this weekend, so now my best girl really does need to go back to work in order to keep her figure but I am still simply to heavy to ride her. I don't even fit into my saddle properly. A bit depressing really - 9 beasties in the field and I can't ride because I would crush the poor things. Anyone else losing weight simply to be able to get back in the saddle?

It's one of my many reasons. I am not too big to ride my ponies - they are built like tanks but I am definitely not as balanced in the saddle as I was 50lbs ago. My confidence is also much lower than it should be. I am a good rider but I dont FEEL like a good rider when I am all jiggly and bouncy in the saddle.0
