To make 8 tortillas

1/2 Teaspoon Salt ( I used more like 1/4 teaspoon)
4 TablespoonsWater (I used almost 8 Tablespoons)
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1. Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Dough should combine in to a single ball. If this doesn’t happen, add a little more water incrementally until it does.

2. Cover the dough with a wet towel or cloth for ~15 minutes.

3. Split dough into eight balls. Roll into round shapes. (I rolled all 8 in a repetitive cycle - until dough stopped stretching then started back with the first one again. It took about 3 rounds to get to the size and thickness I wanted. I use a little extra flour to keep the dough from sticking to the rolling pin. But after the initial rolling, I lightly sprayed the counter with water so the dough grabbed the counter lightly to help the dough stretch a little thinner. White flour tortillas may be easier to roll because of the extra gluten.)

4. Take each circle and place onto an ungreased skillet. Cook over medium heat until tortilla starts to show brown spots. (I have an electric crepe maker that I cooked mine on. I also tried spraying a few lightly with oil before cooking and I liked the result but they were good with out it too.)

Enjoy!

I saved this when you posted it but haven't had time to make it yet, but I hope to try it soon. I need things to help reduce my more refined bread/pasta intake.
