Hello all! I just joined and it said I need to eat around 1300 calories but I am currently EBF so how do I add that to the calculations?

In the food database there is a food called breastfeeding and its minus 500 calories. Add that "food" to whichever meal u want and it will deduct 500 calories.
  • I just add 1 minute of cardio and put it as BFing 450 cals.

I just changed mine today so that the bf starts me at -500 or -800 (depending on who is eating and how much) by using the ebf under the food category. It was nice because it added extra nutrients I needed to get, like extra protein! In the end, you need to do it so that it makes sense to you. It is really hard to wrap your mind around for some reason..I've been working on figuring out exactly how I wanted to do it for two weeks.
  • thank you for asking this question I was just wondering the same thing :-)

I had mine on 500 for a while but then I discovered a milk calculator and found out that I wasnt estimating it right. It calculates
according to baby's weight. You can input it as breastfeeding by ounces.
