Adjusting eating once goal is met

Hiya Team UK!

I'm hoping for some advice/clarity...

I've lost 10lbs so far and when I hit my target MFP said that I should click on the box that came up to recalculate my calorie intake now that I had less to lose.... having clicked on it it hasn't done anything :s The same has happened for my dad (who is 66 and has managed to lose a stone so very proud!).

Has this happened to anyone else? Have I done something wrong is is it just that MFP has decided my calories don't need to change? My target intake is 1200 though I have been averaging about 1300 recently. I do still have about 7lb to lose.

Thanks for any help :)

I think that you need to go into "home" then "goals". You can then reset your weight loss target and one of the options is to maintain your weight. This then recalculates your calorie intake to keep your weight constant.
  • Thank you! Yes you're right, I've been through that just now :) sadly for me it's recalculation gives me the same verdict of 1200 though I am happier now that I know that's what it's supposed to be.
