I never get enough sleep. I just can't turn my brain off at night. The only time I get great sleep is on Saturday mornings, when I have finally fallen asleep around 3 or 4 in the morning and my wonderful hubby lets me sleep in while he deals with the kids. lol. In the past the supplement melatonin has helped, but I have to be able to get at least 6 or 7 hours straight sleep when I take it or I feel weird. I don't like to take sleeping pills. It's hard to come out of them for me and I don't feel safe taking them when I'm in charge of my kids.0

On nights where I don't work, I get about 7-9 hours, which works for me nicely. Unfortunately, on nights where I do work I don't get home until midnight and am pretty wired so I'm lucky if I get 5 or 6 hours. Even the little difference I can feel in the morning and I'm super tired and unmotivated.0

First - sleep... what is that?... I work full time, go to school full time, have 3 children and an adult child (my husband haha).... I'm lucky to get 5-6 hours of sleep. When I don't work, I try for 7 or 8 hours, but it's rare. (Add working out to that, and OMG--I'm sooooo tired!!) As much as I would like to sleep more, I have too much going on.
Second--I"m down again today!! 158.5!! I can't even believe it--I haven't been less than 160 in.... I don't even know how long! I'm not sure I can drop 8.5 pounds in 3 weeks, but I'll def be close to my goal.0 -
141.0!!! 88 lbs lost total, in 80 weeks! I'm beyond happy!
I'm definitely not going to complain too much about sleep because I get a lot more than my hubby does! And my kids sleep through the night now which is awesome.0 -
Still no change either way! Which is good this week. TOM and no water weight gain. Still 137 lbs. 1 more week til my surgery and I don't think I'll make my goal weight. I'm 2 lbs. from my original ultimate goal of 135. I'm getting skin removed which will take some weight off, but adding implants that maybe weigh 2 lbs. so who knows what my after weight will be. And I won't know for months because of the after surgery swelling and water weight.0

Haha... I forgot about the implant weight when I replied earlier about losing the last 2 pounds of skin. Oops. :ohwell: If it's any consolation, you look absolutely fabulous at 137! Wish me luck on not gaining a ton of water weight for TOM--it's been pretty rough over here with hormones...and I'm still a week away! lol...0

Hi guys. I am asking for another group weigh in extension... We have had some pretty stressful life situations and one of my horses (a little four month old) may have to be put down. I'm frantic trying to do whatever I can for him, plan my wedding, and prep for the puppy that will be here in a couple of days.
Are you all okay with this? I am really sorry...0 -
Jersey, so sorry about your horse. Take your time and you do what you need to do. We are all so thankful for all that you do in organizing this group. :flowerforyou:0

No problem. I'm sorry about your horse0

Not a problem at all! So sorry about the difficult situation you are experiencing. :frown:0

Checking in with still no change and surgery day is Monday! I'm at 137 and not looking forward to the water weight gain from IV fluids and swelling. I gained 16 lbs. with my breast lift. I've heard that the implants and tummy tuck are much worse. It's a 4-6 hr. surgery, so that's a lot of fluid pumping in. I know it's all water weight and it will come off in time. But this will put me over 150 again and that is sooo scary to me! Please friends, pray for me tomorrow and through my recovery. I don't know if I will make the next check in. I may be too out of it on pain meds. Thanks! :flowerforyou:0
