Guild Wars 2?

So, I caved. It's been a while since I've played an MMO and my husband and I decided it was time to find another. Guild Wars 2 seemed appropriate for the time considering there's no subscription fee.
Does anyone else play?
We had to play a game of computer-part-roulette to be able to make our computers run about equal. Turns out I need a new graphics card which I'll be buying this weekend. (I should probably add that when I first started installing the game, my computer decided it was finally too good for me and died. This has been my most expensive game purchase to date because I had to buy a whole new computer. *Headdesk*)

I'm addicted to Diablo 3 right now and if I pick up another game, my wife may beat me with a stick. in my sleep. and by stick, I mean sword.
Have you seen the previews for Marvel Heroes? It looks interesting.0 -
I want Guild Wars 2 so bad. atm can't afford it. but I will have it in my grasp soon enough >:D0

i'm playing it. and loving it.
it's a beautiful looking game, and fun and just different enough to be interesting, yet similar enough to other mmo's that i don't feel completely lost.0 -
We're looking at it for our winter game.
My biggest hurdle so far is that I am a healer - I love healing, its what I play and have played in every game since EQ in 1999. Right now I'm so lost trying to find a class that I can play that it's almost killing the desire to try this game for me. Closest I can get is a Paladin type. He will probably have to get it first and let me play around.
If it doesn't work out we'll either be going back to SWTOR or Ill be going back to EQ2 without him but I desperately want a game we can play together.0 -
I play, still loving it despite all of the launch issues.
My one suggestion is to keep a clock handy.0 -
Just picked it up last night, I left it patching overnight while I was at work. So I might get a chance to play it some tonight, or maybe tomorrow depending on my schedule.
I've got a buddy who is going to play a warrior type, and I'm debating a thief.
Is that a good combo for a duo?0 -
My husband and I are playing human Paladin/Thief combo. We seem to work pretty well together.
I've found I'm only interested in playing when he plays though, it's kind of boring alone!0
