Anyone doing this? My husband is signed up for it, and I'm tempted to sign up as well just to see if I can do it. I have a training plan that I'm not afraid to use, and I fully accept it'll be a run/walk affair (more walking I suspect than running).

I was in the same position last year with the Great North Run and i signed up and now its 2 weeks away !! i am so glad i did sign up for it as it gave me a reason to have to get out running and it was great to see how many calories i had burned off after a run !! x0
