    Half the reason I love Zelda games is for the music! The Skyward Sword soundtrack is my favorite right now. And this girl is AMAZING.

    I agree; a good soundtrack can not only make or break a game, but the best ones stay with you. My current favorite is the score to Braid.

    Any Zelda music. Or Mario. Particularly from the original games. My mom used to pick on me because I'd have remixes burned on CDs and would listen in the car. The stuff just perks me up sometimes, what can I say?

    I. AM. JEALOUS. Love the Zelda series, but the symphony just didn't come near enough to me ;_;. I wish they'd done more for the anniversary for those of us who couldn't do the symphony!

    I wish the whole thing would have gone on longer. I was lucky that they came to Minnesota, usually tours skip us and just do the coasts.

    That's the kicker ;-). I am in NY, but it's quite a drive to the city, and most concerts are IN the city or around that area. So we're usually stuck, too :-(

    I love that some of the special game collections will include the Soundtrack as well. Nobuo Uematsu is my all time fave for composers (he composed all the music for the Final Fantasy series - up to 9, so basically all the good ones.)

    Anyone ever visit Overclocked [http://ocremix.org/]? The site is "dedicated to the appreciation and promotion of video game music as an art form". Basically they have remixed versions of video game music. I haven't been there in forever, but this topic just made me remember it.... they also have free downloads of said remixes.

    I love the soundtrack from FFVII and FFVIII. the opening intro to FFVIII is amazing!

    Medal of honor soundtracks I love too. the theme to pacific assault is comforting to me.

    The Katamari series has one of the best soundtracks, IMO. And the soundtrack to Lunar: Silver Star Story makes me sooooo nostalgic!

    Chance Thomas did the new LotRO expansion soundtrack and it's absolutely epic. Been totally geeking out on it and not leaving some areas because I love the song haha.
