If I can do it...

...so can you

Running stats for tonight: 5.54 miles, 65mins, 35secs.

I've been in a huge rut lately as far as my running is concerned so this was a good night for me. I should be able to get to 10k in the next week or two. I've still got a ways to go for my half marathon in February but as long as I keep putting in the work there should be no reason I get can't get there. Can you tell I'm trying to give myself a pep talk? LOL.

In 7 weeks I have gone from 307lbs to 275lbs and from sitting on the couch to running over 5 and a half miles. Not to be cheesy or cocky, but I am very proud of myself. I still have a long way to go but I have made some huge strides and am finally becoming the person I have always wanted to be. I'm definitely going to bed with a smile on my face tonight.

For any other very overweight and obese people out there, I just wanted to say that it CAN be done. You CAN be a runner if you put in the work. I WILL be a long distance runner. It is my new passion and I started at the very bottom 7 weeks ago but hard work has already brought me so far in this short amount of time. I feel like I'm part of the club now and running that half in February is going to put me on cloud 9.
