We agreed to be friends.

Ok. What exactly do I say to him?? I don't want to sound crazy, or needy, or anything like that, and I'm really bad about doing that when I want answers.
I agree. You don't want to scare him off.
Are yall still talking? You said you had agreed to be friends. So... how has the interaction between you been since you did the deed? Back to normal? Awkward? Not at all?
My choice of words might depend upon all of that.
But I would have asked before we started... probably... especially if we had been sobering up...
Everything is normal. Not awkward at all. We talk all day every day0 -
Let it be. Just enjoy it and see what happens when you see each other again. If it is not uncomfortable for you then just see what happens when you are around each other. Guys scare easily. lol0

*sigh* OK...
lol, this is what I have been doing. But I know myself, and I know I'll reach a point where I can't take it any more and say something to him and scare him. Whatevs. I'll just let it happen.0 -

This is good advice BUT if you are developing somekind of feelings for him you need to be honest about it.
I personally have nothing against FWB but if you guys had that conversation and decided against it you should really clear the air up a little. If nothing else it will give you perspective...
Try saying something like "So what do you think about what happened the other night "
Also there is the possibilty that he was as sober as you think he was . Booze makes people "twirly"0 -

If you wait and wait until you burst -that- is what is going to scare him because then it'll be completely out of the blue and probably disorganized and ranty.
At least from my experience.Try saying something like "So what do you think about what happened the other night "
I don't agree with this either, it's vague. You're fishing for details instead of just being straight up.
Be honest, be open and be calm. "I was thinking about XYZ night. I really enjoyed what happened and it's made me wonder if there could be more to us than just friends. Do you want to keep going with what we've got now or did you want to give things a shot?"0 -
Pump his ego .. lol .. tell him what he did the other was freaking awesome and you want more! then you get what you want and it brings him to you.
I gotta believe that he wouldn't have done THAT if he had no spark there for you. Why would you??0 -
I would say something like, "So....the other night was fun, what was that all about? It kind of has me rethinking the whole 'let's just be friends' thing. Still think there isn't a spark?"
But there always seems to be something that happens when you break up with somebody. It's like you realize you might never see that person again and you want to "say goodbye" if you know what I mean. Also it removes any expectations and stress caused by trying to date someone you're attracted to but just not sure about, so then you're more relaxed and the sex is just mind blowing.0 -
I said something.
Apparently I'm the only one that feels like that wasn't something you do with no sparks *sigh* I guess I'm glad we are friends.
Thanks for the advise.0 -

I'm sorry to hear that. Please don't torture yourself with this "friend." Find others.0 -

Now you know where you stand though! You don't have to agonize about it anymore.0 -

Cool, at least you know :flowerforyou:
I think men find it easier to detach themselves sexually. It's one of those things I will never understand as long as I live! But I accept that its the case.
Good luck with finding the mutual spark!! :bigsmile:0 -

Yup, now you know, sorry it wasn't the response you wanted... But hey, it usually doesn't work out that a guy does all the work without expecting much in return, so at least you had fun :laugh:0 -

Yep! I agree with you there PJ!! :laugh:0 -
Strangely enough he could of been doing it for himself as a bit of an ego boost to be honest.0

Maybe it was just a fun night0

You don't have to put me on blast. Just get back over here!
