I'd also like to see 25-30 by the end of the year, but don't know if it'll happen. I have family coming to visit in December (I live in northern Italy), and I know they'll want to go out to eat.

At my last weigh in Monday I was at 167.7. I am managing to lose even though I am totally not on track or making an effort what so ever. I would love to be at my goal weight by Christmas which means another 45 lbs. Guess that means I need to get it together. I will do my weigh and measure on the 1st.
  • Thanks for invite to the ... I would love to lose 20lbs minimum.. So if I can get to 166 I will be over the frigin moon as that would be the lightest I have ever been in my adult life...

I joined MFP last november and over the Xmas holidays and things I lost 25lbs, ( that took me to 172)that took me till about march/April time, I dropped almost 2 dress sizes and was very pleased with myself.... Then BAMB home improvements and 15lbs returned..
What I would really like is to be able to get into the clothes I bought, that are now to darn tight.... Grrrrrrr

I'm making no commitments with exercise because I have problems with my head, so I will do what I can do... I don't want to let myself down because I can't achieve my exercise goal, that would mean failure and that would then lead to comfort eating lol....

Good luck guys.... I now we can do it....

The most weight I could probably hope for by Dec 31 is about 18-20 pounds. I don't lose quickly, so I'd be happy with that!! :)

Any change we make for the better is awesome!! :flowerforyou:  I have stayed under 1600cals for a week, I think... Haven't been able to work out for 2 wks:grumble: ... due to surgery. Tomorrow will be my first day back on treadmill, a little freaked because my chest is still a little swollen due to new port. Hopefully I can get in at least 1/4 mile, LOL

Oh, and I was thinking that we could/should have a weekly weigh in... Say fridays.... =) I am going to weigh in every friday, amd post my winnings =)

HAPPY LOSING or CHANGING.... whatever you need

    100 days goal: 245
I am currently at a plateau and need to shake something up to get past it.
In the next 100 days I hope to to CHANGE a few things
    1- run 1 mile buy completing c25k
    2- lose 20 pounds
3- be kinder to myself and learn to celebrate my NSV
    4- exercise 60 minutes everyday
5- drink 100 oz of water each day

Hi! So glad I found this group. I am new to mfp so my goal will be to stay within the #s suggested and walk every day. I haven't been doing this long enough to know what a weight goal should be, as I have only once in my life successfully dieted and that was a few years ago.

I am also in a 12 step program for an eating disorder, so my other goals will be to faithfully continue working that program with my 12step partner (i'm working on an inventory of the last 2 years) and to not engage in any behaviors that feel degrading, even if I can't explain why I feel that way. Trying to learn to follow my gut feelings.

I gave myself a # goal when I signed up, because it asked me to, but my real goal for right now is to get from the Obese category to the Overweight category. I just don't know if I can do it in 100 days in a way that I will be able to maintain....so, no time limit for that particular goal.
  • i have worked my butt off walking this week and if i havent lost even half a lb i will cry!! the scales havent moved at all so far.

hope everyone is having a fab week =]
