Proverbs 1:21 (NIV)
"Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails."

I am making my plans to begin a specific course of action on diet. As I do so, I consider such questions as, Does this work with the body God has given me? Is it balanced and healthy? Is there scientific research to support this approach?

If your plan is to eat only grapefruit, or bacon, for the next month, I ask you to reconsider! The Lord's purpose will prevail in any event. Better to have a plan that matches His intention for your body, which is His temple.

  • Tonight I started, along with Esther and my sister, a program called :"Scale Down". Esther got it at Iron Sharpens Iron. I am excited about making small changes over a period of time to achieve big results - with the Lord's help. The program was created by Danna Demetre, she says "Do the right things for the right reasons and trust God with the results". That is my plan! I am excited to see how God works through this group.
