Hey Gang!

How are you doing with your weight loss? What's been working? What needs changing? What's going on in your life?

I have my final fitting for my wedding dress tomorrow at 12 PM. I am bloated from eating way too much sodium... I feel a little bit like a failure, weight wise, as I have gained weight back before my wedding... but I am going to soldier on. Realistically, I know that there will be no big changes until I get back from the honeymoon.

Hey!! I'm not doing much for working out, but I am down to 154.5.... so far from where I was... Even though I'm not done, I'm really excited about it all. I have been dealing with a cold and super busy schedule with work (40+ hours) and school (4 classes this semester) all while maintaining a healthy schedule for my kids -- so I'm doing pretty well with eating, but running has dropped in priority. Hoping to change that this week! I know I need to get back to it to see more loss--I'm not gaining (which is great) but my30th bday is 26 days away, so I'd like to drop 5-10 more pounds before then. :)

Congrats on the impending wedding, Jersey!! You'll be beautiful and happy and can worry about getting back on track when the honeymoon is over. No sense in stressing about things that are beyond your control when you have all the wedding festivities going on ;)

Linea you sure sound like Superwoman. I have no idea how you manage to juggle all of that. Good for you! What an inspiration!

And thank you re: the wedding. It's gotten to a point where I know that it's unrealistic to expect big changes (or any) before the wedding, so I am letting things roll off my back like water off a duck. I can't work out, my ankle is injured (STILL), I have had NO time to make meals (seriously... it's awful... I had popcorn and trail mix for dinner last night) and I have so much stress from in-laws, that I just don't have enough in me for anything else.

Final fitting today. Hair trial tonight.
    Hoping for smooth sailing.

It's getting soooo close, Jersey! Just remember to enjoy your wedding day. Enjoy your hubby and enjoy the honeymoon. That is what counts. Then you can get back to all this. Just breathe...

Linea you ARE a Super Woman! lol! You are doing great. You will get back to the running. I know because you are determined to so this to be healthy for you and your family. :)

As for me, I have lost all my water weight from surgery and am almost standing upright after the tummy tuck. Yesterday was 17 days out and the first real "good day" for me. I felt normal. No pain. Just a little tightness. I am walking leisurely with doc's approval. Hoping for approval for the elliptical by the next follow up visit on Oct. 12. I am doing great on keeping under calorie, because I feel it's all I can control at htis point. My goal is to be able to run my 3 miles straight again by New Year's. Good luck everyone. I love our group!

    You ladies are amazing!

I've been at a standstill with exercising. I still try to eat right (super hard!) and stay under my calories, but I have no time at the moment for super exercising. I walk to the post office and bank almost everyday, but that only takes 30 minutes at the most. I'm studying to be a medical transcription editor and have until February to finish my course, but I fell FAR behind over the summer while my kids were home from school. All my extra time and energy have been thrown into studying and trying to catch up and hopefully be able to finish on time. I don't think I will, but I want to be as close as possible so if I do have to purchase an extension I will hopefully only have to get one, lol!

I do love checking in with you guys and seeing how wonderful your doing. I will hopefully be able to focus on my weight loss soon, but right now it just doesn't seem to happen and I don't want to stress about it. I have enough stresses going on right now.
