Sorry if this is posted more than once....
But my weekend was soo absolutley wonderful I just had to tell you guys!
My apologies for dissapearing for so long, I've been gettin ready for my friends wedding, and yay it's over done, wooo hooo!
I did end up taking Mr. Cowboy Hat with me to the wedding, and I was absolutely amazed, he helped out while I was off doing my MOH duties and such, never complained once, told me how nice I looked, kept track of my stuff for me, helped me up and down when I was a little to um...:drinker:
At the end of the night we sat down on the stage and watched everyone else and I swear.... that was the best hour of the night....we talked and :blushing: a little.
Did I mention boy that man can sing.....and he can dance.......
I think I found a keeper.
I'm excited. I had a few moments when we were slow dancing that I almost freaked cause it was like ya know....all romantic and stuff..... but I told that voice to shut the hell up. He smelled too good to walk away from it :happy:

This weekend was okay. Spent a lot of time outside with my baby boy. Had a very weird date Saturday night. lol0

awww sounds like a great date and how a guy is supposed to act in those situations.
Saturday up bright and early for the Susan Koman 5k, we had to be there by 7am. There were way too many people there. I did the uncompetitive one and it took us 10-15 mins of walking just to get to the start finish line. I had signed up to the competitive one but all my friends signed up for the other one so I did that one instead. It was like running an obstacle course. At one point I was actually hurtling orange cones because it was the only clear path.
After that went to work for 4 hours then met some friends to pick out Halloween costumes. They talked me into something that I really don’t want to wear. Wayyyyy too short and too much boobage. I ended up getting home at about 11pm.
The next morning up bright and early to meet my friend at 9:30. We had the suv for tailgating so made some rounds to pick up other peoples stuff and got to the place for tailgating at 11:30 and set up. Tailgated until 3:30 and then went and saw the Panthers crumble to the Seahawks. I am not a fan of either team but my friend is from Seattle so I cheered for the Seahawks. This is the first NFL game I have gone to in ages and wow I prefer MLB. I tend to get as loud as the fans around me so I was getting evil looks for cheering for the Seahawks. After the game some of us decided instead of sitting in traffic to go grab something to eat. I ended up getting home around 11pm again.
I have figured since I got home at 1am on Wed from my trip last weekend I have spent a whole 33 hours at my house and 30 of them were for sleeping.0 -

My weekend was fun. Party on Saturday. My beloved Spurs (UK football team) game on Sunday. Haven't been to a live game for about a year, what a buzz!! We won 2 - 0 :bigsmile:0 -

My weekend was fun. Party on Saturday. My beloved Spurs (UK football team) game on Sunday. Haven't been to a live game for about a year, what a buzz!! We won 2 - 0 :bigsmile:

Sat morning I ran a 5k which was fun, then shopping to get ready for a date I have been waiting 2 weeks for with someone that was all wrong for me. He never called so I went to a pure romance party with friends (whew fun) then out dancing. Danced with lots of really attractive guys and bumped into an old friend I haven't seen in 10 years. He hit on me and we figured out our dads are best friends anyways fast forward we danced all night, I took him home and we stayed up until 6am talking (no we didn't hook up). Then went to coffee, breakfast and drove around looking at land for sale (yes we are country). He is amazing!! Planning our second date now, it is weird how some things have to fall apart to have an amazing night!0 -

Funny how something annoying (like hair) can fade into the background when you really like someone. And I know this from experience, as BB is very hairy and I've *always* hated that.0 -

My weekend: Saturday at home was heartbroken thinking I wouldn't make it to see the Blue Angels. TADA my dad and step mom wired me money to go.
Sunday: Took the first ferry over to the city (new profile pic from SF), got whistled at and called a hottie by a group of sailors! Had a blast watching the Blue Angels (although a little irked that the America's Cup got in the way). But did get to see part of the America's Cup too which was cool. Got to personally thank some of our military for their service, and met some lovely people from Germany and Oregon. Horribly sunburnt though, and exhausted!!
ETA: I was irked because I did not get to see the Stealth, and a few others due to the America's Cup. But all in all it was cool to see both, and got great pics!0 -

Thursday night I stayed up til dawn and ended up crashing halfway through our houseparty saturday night - but I woke up sunday morning and did a 13 mile run/trot. then I accidentally passed out again and stayed up all night last night, but then this morning I had a really inefficient amazing great workout. high five.0

I had my bf meet my dad and stepmom-he had already met mom and stepdad, and he also met one aunt and uncle as we did my stepdad's bday. And, yes, dad and stepmom came to stepdad's bday celebration. Then Sunday me, my bf, his daughter and her bf all took a ride up to VT--we took a chairlift to the top of MT. Snow to admire the view of all the changing foliage--was very pretty, and a wonderful day!!0 -
Friday night I had date #3 with Mr. Hasn't-Made-Me-Run-For-The-Hills-Yet. We ended up back at his place watching Saturday Night Fever and were both amazed that even though we've seen the movie several times we both forgot that there's a gratuitous gangbang and a suicide in the movie. Wacky!
Saturday involved shopping and pumpkin beer tasting.
Sunday involved Patriots football and date #4 which included a lovely dinner and laughs and cuddles and meant I didn't get to bed before 2 any night this weekend.
So worth it though.0 -

I kind of disappeared this weekend with the guy I've been seeing now for about 6 weeks. He had a big work event and invited me along, which meant dinner Friday, an early morning Saturday and an award lunch. We ended up spending much of the weekend together and I didn't get some work done that I needed to do yesterday, so I was up at 5 AM this morning to play a little catch up, but it was so worth it. Finally had the big serious talk yesterday about a major deal-breaker, so it's on the table, but we'll see where things go. 0 -

My weekend was quiet. I finally made it back to Zumba Saturday for the first time in a while. I took a nap after though, haha! I got stuff done around the house so I could have fun Sunday. Since no one takes me out on dates, I finally picked up dinner to go at that restaurant I used to reserve for a date, haha... it was GOOD!
Sunday, I went to church then met a friend for lunch and football. Had time to cook, bake, and do a little more cleanup... I really hate mopping floors!0 -
I had an okay weekend. Friday was spent home with a sick child. Then Saturday I cleaned and disinfected the entire house ..lol. Then i finished up my shopping for his birthday. He turned 13. I can't even believe it. My baby boy is a teenager. He didn't hear from his father all freaking day. And to top it all off .. the boy I was seeing for a while, we parted ways a couple weeks ago.. he had promised Owen he would come for his birthday party and of course he didn't .. for obvious reasons .. but Owen didn't hear from him either. So .. I guess I really need to be more careful who I introduce him to .. the only thing is .. he is with me 99% of the time, so it makes dating someone without them crossing paths difficult. Anyway. I just hate that his feelings were hurt by yet another man. Not to mention it was someone that didn't need to be around him.0

Aw, I'm sorry. The thing that would get me the most is the promising thing. It's okay to introduce kids in my book but I don't think anyone should've promised anything at such an early stage in the relationship.0 -

Sorry my weekend post is late but I was off on Monday so its part of the weekend to me lol..
Friday night went out with Mr. Nice Guy to watch a good cover band in a nice little bar. We had a blast and the band was really good.I was out til 4 am
Saturday morning I worked :grumble: Then went home and relaxed. Mr. Nice guy came over and we watched a couple of movies (btw The Grey was very hmmmm) and "hung out" lol he left a 4 am.
Sunday I decided to become super women and weed eat my entire back yard. My yard is good sized. The problem is it doesnt have any grass because when they did contruction to repair the roof the landlord never laid sod. It took my 6 hours to do the entire backyard with a weed wacked and I got stung by a wasp lol. Sunday night I was in bed by midnight.
Monday was my first day back at the gym. Then got an oil change and grocery shopped. LOL I was productive. Then we went to the bar last night (ladies drink free on Mondays) one of my best friends who hasnt been able to come out since july (newborn) was able to come out. It was a blast everyone came out and we were all singing and dancing and acting a fool.I got home at 3 am

Yeh .. i cry when I think about it too. He is the coolest kid and so sweet and accepting. I just need to do better. Live and learn. He did have a great birthday tho and hopefully is learning along the way how NOT to treat people.0 -
I like cowboy hat guy. He seems like a guy you need to get to know better!!! Hairy chest and all. I had a GREAT weekend. The surprise turned out great - although he did guess where we were going after the 3rd time of seeing San Francisco on the how many miles signs. It took him 3 guesses to figure out what we were going to do there. I actually enjoyed the air show. Dinner was YUMMY. He said it was the best day ever!0
