I got my new hoop

I went to Walmart yesterday and got a new hoop for myself..I am very excited that I am going to start it again.. I can't wait to go home and do the hoop..It was 2.5 lb, the weight was comfortable around my waist .. it took few attempts for me to fall into the balance and rythym .. finally I got it .. The hoop came with a DVD with basic instuctions. I think thats a good deal for 20 bucks.

    I have little pain in my back because of first 2 days of practice .. hope that wil go away soon..

    I don't have a weighted hoop myself so just guessing .... but might just be muscle over-use from having so much fun with your new toy ... better to avoid over-straining and build up stamina systematically than to have to lay off due to injury.

    I am doing much better now .. I am able to hoop longer without dropping it ..I am only doing at waist for now .. I am eager to learn new tricks ..
