Cutting my long hair off

I've been losing weight for a while now, I kind of got stuck over the kids summer holiday but I did manage to maintain the weight loss despite being less active (no long walks to school every day) but want to get back to it now because I want to loose more belly and bum in time for my 40th birthday in March to go with another part of my that is going to be changing, extremely drastically!
I have long hair, always have had, its half-way down my back. I am growing it longer from now until March, when I will have it all cut off into a short choppy style, where the longest layers are shoulder length, the shortest I have ever had my hair eeeek! I will be donating my long hair to Little Princess Trust, who provide real-hair wigs to children who have lost theirs through Cancer treatment. The minimum donation is 7 inches of hair and mine is already 10 inches from the shoulders down so with 5 months growth I hope to be able to donate more than 12 inches.
I was just going to make the minimum donation of 7 inches but then I got to thinking "Woman, you're going to be 40, you've had that hairstyle for almost 10 years, you need a change girl!" So a change it is going to be and I have picked a gorgeous style that I instantly fell in love with when I saw it, and so did hubby. He is backing me all the way but I could really do with some sponsors, however how big or how small, every £1 counts towards raising funds for the Charity to cover the cost of making my long hair into a wig for a little girl who has lost her own long locks.
For more information on the charity, my progress, photos, thoughts, feelings and to donate to my fundraising please visit my Just Giving page. http://www.justgiving.com/Julia-Blakeman
Thanking you for your time and hopefully a few £'s.

Have just made a donation, and wish you every success with your endeavours - both with the Little Princess Trust and with MFP. All the best, Glenn0
