My challenge goals:
5 swims / 3 weights / no "heat & eat" meals / lose 40 pounds
Initial weight 474
Week 01 - 471 (-3 week / -3 for challenge) (4 pool/3 weight/good food)
Week 02 - 470 (-1 week / -4 for challenge) (0 pool/0 weight/1 bad binge - 3600 cal meal)
Week 03 - 462 (-8 week / -12 for challenge) (0 pool/4 weight/good food)
Week 04 - 458 (-4 week / -16 for challenge) (1 pool/1 weight/good food)
Another bad week for exercise. I only got in one session in the pool and 1 in the weight room (both Monday morning). I'm pretty happy with how I've been doing food wise. Aside from a pack of M&M's and a pack of Goldfish crackers my food has all been put together at home (no takeout or frozen dinners).
Work has been dominating my time and the extra time at my desk has caused some back pain to flare up. I'm looking into some stretching exercises I can do to help with the pain. It's not cardio or weights like I want but it's something I can do at home that will help in the long run.

One month check in for me...
(note: I always step on my digital scale three times to make sure I get a consistent read-out... I got two weights & went with the higher this morning)

thoughts: it's not MUCH... but since it's a loss, I'll take it. I've been rehabbing a hamstring injury and unable to run for 3 weeks, but I've got the green light to take on shorter distances this week, so I'm going to give it a shot!

So far so good!!! Rough few weeks- traveled to visit my Grandmother (94 and has dementia, so that was... interesting) then returned to work to have a student pass away. It was really hard not to just eat my feelings, but I did it- with a few small exceptions.

Haven't checked in, in a while, so I thought I'd say hello to everyone. Was ecstatically happy last Friday as I had lost a four pounds during the week, but then demoralized Monday when I put 3 back on. :-( Just have to remember it's a journey and not a sprint. So far this week I'm down a pound or two but this sure does go suh lowww.
