Obsessing During The 2WW.

So, I am currently in the 2WW period. My last round of Clomid I had two follicles that were about 20+ in size. So, I was given the trigger shot to make me ovulate. So, now I am in this 2WW. My nurse wants me to take a PT on the 22nd.

Here is what is happening however. I feel like I am just obsessing about wanting to be prego. I try not to think about it, but that is all I do. I am praying that this round worked for us. But I am anxiuos about this because this is the first time with my trigger shot to make me ovulate. I want to feel the symptons so bad that I think I am physing myself out thinking that I feel something. LIke I keep feeling to see if my boobs feel sore... stuff like that. I know it's supper early because I am not even 1 week into it.

Is there anything you guys can think of that I can do to get my mind off of this? I should have O last weekend. I was hoping I could take a PT before the 22nd. I would like to take it on the 20th at least. We are having a B-day party for my hubs and I would like to see what kind of reading I get and if it will be accurate or not so I can avoid adult beverages at all cost.

Anyways, has this happened to anyone else? Obsessing about it during the 2ww.

    Good luck my dear!!!! Every 2ww is like that for me. I would take a test later than earlier you will be dissappointed. If you go to the party have 1 drink that won't hurt. Do you have to take a break for a while? I am starting Femera tomorrow, went though the Clomid and it dind't help this time around, but I used it for my first pregnancy and it worked in 3 cycles... so fingers, eyes, toes crossed for you!! Keep me updated :)

    Good luck, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. I'm new to the group, but was at tail end of my 2ww with you. It's crazy how easy it is to convince myself that this is the time :( Not my cycle this time, but on plus side, first ovulation I've had since May. It's reassuring to hear from others in the same boat. Good luck, good luck, keep me posted!

    Well, I don't think this round worked for us. I took a test today and it was a BFN. My nurse wanted me to take it on Monday and call her with the results. I am sure between today and Monday the outcome won't be any different. I am a bit sad because I was really hoping that this round would work. Hopefully next round...

    Why don't you ask your doctor about Femera?? I have heard it works better. I tried it one month, but never followed through because of other issues... and took a break. I just started it back up again this month. I will let you know what happens :)

    I have never used or heard of Femera. I just googled it to see what it said about it. So with the Clomid it is doing what it needs to do. Which it made my follicles big enough to make me ovulate. And then they gave me the trigger shot which makes me ovulate anywhere from 12-36 hours after the shot.

    But tell me more about Femera.. I don't know much about it.

    um I dont really either... It's actually breast cancer drug, that makes you ovulate...they foudn out on patcients that were using it. It works liek clomid, but without the side effects of clomid, and I have heard it works better. I don't really khow I only took one dose last time. My insurance also covered it, so that was nice. I have never had the trigger shot before. It usally was all on my own. If the clomid is working and your folicules are getting bigger then it's doing its job. This last time with Clomid, I dont' know if I ever ovulated at all, my folicules never got big enough... So I will let you know how this month goes... It's just another option out there. :)
