Well, I have RELOST what I GAINED. I am within .2 lbs of my weight at the beginning of the challenge! I started taking a look back at my weight over the past 3 months - and it's up and down and just about where I am now. Need to crack this plateau. Going to try to mix up my cal counts each day - a little over, a little under - and pushing more on my challenge goals! Wish me luck!

Challenge Goals:
* Lose 10 lbs - Hoping to be back on my way towards this goal this week!
* Eat 2-3 servicing of produce each day - did much better on this one this week!!
* Gym (or home workout - 2-3 times a week - not so good here. Threw knee out again and tendinitis in my bicep is flaring up again. must be change of season!!

Weigh in:
9/27/12: 303.8 lbs.
10/4/12: 303.2 lbs (-.6)
10/11/12: 307.8 (+4.6 lbs - weigh in actually 10/16)

I hear you! I had an initial quick loss, but now that the water is gone, the scale is really moving slowly.

    10/1/12 277.2
    10/8/12 271.2
    10/15/12 268.6

I had a new low on 10/16, but went back to the 15th weight the next day. It can be frustrating because I look at the calorie deficits for each day and wonder how I can possibly weigh the same thing for 8 days in a row, much less gain. I know that I have been on plan and I feel good about that so I will not give up this time no matter what the scale says! I think that I will also do better with more official exercise instead of back breaking yard work, but calories burned is calories burned...all this healthy eating is doing a number on my bowels, too so hopefully all will *cough* work itself out as my body gets used to doing something right for a change. ;)

Having a pretty good week, even though I didn't have a loss this week. I've been consistent with my workouts, haven't had a soda since 10/1/12, and am starting to add more fruits and veggies to my diet.

    10/01: 212.6
    10/04 - 213.2 (+0.6)
    10/11 - 212.6 (-0.6)
    10/19 - 212.4 (-0.2)

Stuck at 212... this week I need to step it up a bit by logging my foods and doing more exercise than I have been (which is NONE)

    Goals still:
    1. Get and STAY below 200 by Thanksgiving and through Christmas
    2. Only buy groceries for a few days worth of meals at one time (I keep too much food available, even if it's good food I eat it)
    3. Go to at least 1 Zumba class per week over the next 3 months

    My three goals are:

    1. Eat less processed foods ~ this is a real struggle for me. I didn't realize up until a few months ago how much stuff I do eat that is processed. Everyday I try to eat less.
    2. Try one or two new recipes a week from the skinnytaste.com website ~ didn't try a new recipe this week.
    3. Lose 10 lbs ~ down 2.2 lbs. so far.

    Weigh in:

I'm down 2 lbs this week and excited to finally hit the 250 mark - I'm hoping knowing that I could be in the 240's next week will help give me a push. My exercise hasn't been good so I really want to push myself in that area more. mt calories have been OK, although I could be making some better choices of what I'm eating and i'm doing better with my water.
Still focusing on my three goals and feeling optomistic about reaching the 238 mark by Christmas/New Year.

    Current Goals:
    1) Be more consistant with my exercise, yoga & swimming
    2) Drink more water
    3) Lose 15lbs by December 31 so I can start the New Year smaller than I've ever been as an adult.

    9/26: 253
    10/3: 253
    10/10: 253
    10/17: 252
    10/24: 250
