1 oz of your favorite tequila
1/5 oz. of Grand Marnier (or your favorite orange liqueur)
1/2 lemon, squeezed & muddled
1/2 lime, squeezed & muddled
Muddle the lemon & lime, then add it all plus the liquor to a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds. Strain over rocks in a cocktail glass. Garnish with lime wedge.
Seriously, the best margarita ever. And just over 100 calories. Enjoy!

Skinny Girl White Peach Margarita, plus, Skinny Girl is already to pour, and something like 30 calories per ounce.
Also love the White Cranberry Cosmo
gonna have 9 ozs. right now.under 300 calories
prefer it over ice0 -
We always make these classic ones at home:
Per serving:
3 T tequila
2 T Triple Sec or other orange-flavored liqueur
Fresh-squeezed juice from 2 limes
Ice and/or water to taste
No sugar or other sweetener. No mix. Once you make them with fresh-squeezed juice and no mix, you'll never go back!0 -
this probably sounds gross but vodka + diet red bull + diet orange soda.
Also do vodka with various flavors of crystal lite and whiskey w/ diet pepsi. OK now I sound like a drunk. : )0 -
good to know!0

Skinny girl is surprisingly good...
I struggle with alcohol, knowing its empty calories yet enjoying it... (usually within reason don't worry).
A glass of chardonnay is what I usually indulge with these days, still has more calories than I thought it did though.
Sometimes, I'll treat myself to a white russian, (vodka, kahlua, supposed to be cream but I use skim milk)... but that one is worse.
Beer, if more than one starts to get calorically prohibitive...lol.
I wonder for weight loss, if I'd be better off with hard liquor with zero calorie mixers, vs chardonnay/light beer.0 -
That's why I went looking for a good margarita. I like wine, and will sometimes have a vodka with soda or a light lemon drop (i.e., no sugar). White Russians are so far in my past I can't imagine them anymore! ;c)0
