Hi, I just wanted to let the gamers here know about this great charity event going down in 2 weeks.

We collect donations and sponsors for the marathon, and then we play games (any kind, console, PC, phone, long as you're gaming it doesn't matter!) for 24 hours straight. All the money is donated to the Children's Miracle Network hospital of the player's choosing. Last year we broke the previous fundraising goals and collected over 1.2 million dollars, and we'd love to beat that high score this year!
So please, if you'd be kind enough to donate towards my fundraiser, or if you can't donate, think about participating and helping to raise money yourself, we'd all be very grateful

Hello everyone!
Just wanted to drop by with a little update on the fundraiser. I played my marathon yesterday, and played RockBand 3 for 22 hours straight, and Borderlands 2 for the remaining 2.5 hours (went half an hour over, lost track of time while playing lol). I met my initial goal of $200 thanks to an ongoing bake sale I was doing at work and around town. I decided to raise my goal to $250 during the marathon to encourage people to donate more. Haven't gotten any new donors, but there is still plenty of time to donate.

That's very cool! we watched the live stream of Trion Worlds for most of the day. Hear extra-life raised over 2 million during the event. That's so great you were part of that!0
