calories- how many will you eat during the shred?

I read somewhere that Jillian reccomends for maximum weight loss during shred to eat 1400 calories? thoughts? how many will you eat? i plan on eating around 1400 after eating back my exercise calories, but i have 50 pounds to lose. For those with less to lose this might be too low? Just curious, how many calories will everyone eat during this 6 weeks?

I would like to follow whatever it is that Jillian Michaels says & since I'm doing the 30 DS I will probably try n stick with the 1400 Cals. I usually hit anywhere between 1650-1800 ... Going to shoot for 1400 Cals for the 6 Weeks :-)0

I'm on a 1200 cal diet (net). I eat back my exercise calories though and sometimes go over on heavy workout days. I've just been listening to my body. So far, so good.0

Without excercise MFP puts me at 1200 cal/day. Adding in my excercise calories I am at 1300-1500. I will usually eat most of those back. So, I will eat around 1400

I'm doing 1400 calories as well, and I do eat back my exercise calories. Weirdly enough, it's been kind of tough to hit my calorie goal each day.. i keep falling short. But, I have come to accept that food is fuel and in order to get and maintain results, we need to eat! Each day it's getting easier to eat clean and wholesome foods instead of grabbing whatever is convenient. One day at a time!0

Around 1400 sounds good. I've been at a baseline of 1350 calories, then eat back some of what I earn with exercise.

lol, im a little sore too...oddly enough im excited for day 2 though...i want to get to day 3 to feel like im halfway through my 5 days for the week lol....baby steps!0

I have changed my calories to net 1450 eating back my exercise calories....this should be acheivable...0
