I am a very lucky wife! While yes, my husband is leaving for Deployment this Saturday for BFE Africa, he is coming home Jan 15 so we can transfer to DC!!! I am so excited! I can't help but be sad about this Saturday but it will be short lived since he is coming home early! So I have a few questions...Has anyone lived there/worked there that can give any good advice.

I haven't but I am glad that you guys will be going together! The next couple of months will go by fast. I am currently waiting on orders to Norfolk so my husband and I can be in the same city - wish me luck!0

Congrats on the good news!! I grew up in the DC area - lived there til I was 18 and plan on moving back once my husband's enlistment is up. It's a really great area. You're going to love it
