I am obsessed..

Come dine with me? Man vs food? Heaven!

Not only that but I must be one of the only few people that enjoys food shopping?

I'm also always intrigued about what friends/family are eating...What did you have for tea? What's for dinner?

It seems to be I don't just like to eat food, I like everything and anything to do with food!

Is it just me?

    Hahah!!

I am the same, I love food shopping...markets and supermarkets are my favourite places.

Love pretty much all cookery programmes.

I'm forever asking friends and family during phonecalls what they're having for dinner or if they've been out for a ameal what they had, did they enjoy it etc.

I think talking about food and cooking is a really sociable thing to do.

It's a normal thing now for my friends to tell me what they have eaten for the day, I am thinking about dinner straight after breakfast..
Luckily getting my daily fix of food porn doesn't make me run to the fridge, I just sit there salivating haha

I want to go to the States just to experience the food!! In fact anywhere I go I want to experience the food....

I don't run to the fridge either, I just love the whole process of watching people buying, growing, cooking food....it's a passion on many levels.

Yes me too, one of the best things about going on holiday is the trying and tasting of different foods..

Glad to know I am not alone with this huge passion/obsession..

Oh this is me, for sure!

    I love food.

Love planning meals, love cooking meals, love having a nosy at what everyone else is eating. I'm always planning my next meal in my head, all the different ways to make a potentially bland meal really tasty. Love being in supermarkets checking out all the varieties. I mean, I dont eat food constantly, I just like to know all about it. What was cooked, how was it cooked, that sort of thing. I'm not obsessed, honest!

I'm not obsessed, but ..... I do like watching those programmes. I have a long held fantasy of going to the US and trying those places with huge portions! I love the idea of supersized food. I'm fascinated by KFC, because they do food in BUCKETS! The funny thing is that I can't actually eat huge portions at all, but I just like the idea of having far too much food. It seems so luxurious. There is a place near me that does one of those huge meals, where they give you your money back if you eat the whole portion, and I'm tempted to go there. I know I wouldn't have any chance of finishing it (and wouldn't even try - I don't like the feeling of being stuffed), but I would just love to see that amount of food sitting in front of me!

Apparently I'm a bit of a size queen when it comes to food porn!

I'm the same....grew it during the summer and in past years have made all manner of jams, chutneys and flavoured vodkas....sadly this year the bad weather has meant I didn't have a glut of anything...still managed a load of vodkas though!!!

If any of you foodies want to add me so we can keep our passion alive please drop me a request!

I know exactly what you mean! All I ever do is either eat, or look forward to the next time I'm going to be doing it. I've even gone to the extreme of having a chef as a boyfriend who cooks me all sorts of amazing meals all the time. I know it's bad, but sometimes I watch Man vs Food and want to do the challenge! Also I regularly dream about eating. I am normally eating a never ending supply of chocolates, cakes and other creamy tasty foods, mmmmm

Since the Olympics are gone, I have become OBSESSED with foodie proggies...
Masterchef Australia, GBBO, Nigelissima... christ even Nigel Slater tempted me into making a Smoked Mackerel and Bacon salad that resulted in me buying Dijon Mustard for the first time EVER!

I even figured out how my damn blender works to make homemade soup now!

    Is there a cure?

Yes, Master Chef Australia is my absolute favourite and I love anything Gordon Ramsey and CDWM (obviously), the cookery slot on This Morning, Saturday Kitchen.. struggling to think.. too much food info! ! I think about food allll the time, sometimes I can't sleep because my mind is too preoccupied by what I'm going to eat the following day..

And now I'm going to Waitrose.. this thread has well and truly set me off!
