It does mine. I believe that everyone should be treated equally and that it's my own responsibility to take care of myself. No man in the sky is going to do it for me.

I don't really think about it, my religion or lack of it doesn't define anything in my life.

I live to my own code of conduct, I don't need a book or anything else to tell me how to act like a decent human being.

When I was growing up we had to repeat the golden rule every morning at school, not the pledge. It said that we were to treat others the way that we wanted to be treated. This is my motto. In surveys it is the religious people who are the first to approve of attacking other countries, putting someone to death or other acts of violence. I think the golden rule covers ethics better than religion.

No it doesn't effect my lifestyle. My parents brought me up to be polite and to respect others. I think that about covers most things

I think like both of you I have my own code that I live by. I try not to be too judgemental, I try to be honest, I try not to hurt anyone, I try not to be rude to people (even when they are idiots) I try to obey the laws of whatever land I am living in.

I don't always succeed in these endevours, especially the "not being rude to idiots" bit but I think I am a decent person. I have reached out to people in need but I have also done some things that were not so good.

My husband thinks I am a good person and his opinion of me is the one that means the most to me

All in all I am an average human being that lives her life mostly well but sometimes not so well.
