lol, I thought my cardio was better than it is.

Switch Kicks - 56 (I'm not quite sure how to count these, that was 56 with each leg)
    Power Jacks - 35
    Power Knees - 56
    Power Jumps - 21
Globe Jumps - 4 (my lungs were burning at this point)
    Suicide Jacks - 12
    Push-Up Jacks - 12
    Low Oblique Planks - 23
  • Started Insanity tonight and I found the fit test very challenging. These next two months will be tough but I am looking forward to the challenge! Here were my results..

    Switch kicks : 100 (50 each leg)
    Power Jacks : 35
    Power knees : 82
    Power jumps : 20
    Globe jumps : 7
    Suicide Jumps : 11
    Push Up Jacks : 10
    Low Oblique Planks : 30

Lets keep each other motivated and log in every day to be accountable to one another! We can talk about the exercises and nutrition etc.. I think it would be cool.

Forgot to mention yesterday, my new HRM (happy birthday to me) said I burned 366 calories doing the fit test, so I'm probably going to have to start eating higher in order to do this without hurting myself. I've been eating 1800 cals /day, but now I'm around 5 lbs away from my goal weight so I'll have to push my calories up a bit if I don't want to burn out.

WOW! You guys all did wonderful!! x
Congrats on your new HRM Joeseph! Wonderful calorie burn. I need to get a HRM as well, which I will get one soon.

Here are my fit test results:

    Switch Kicks: 51 (2 Kicks = 1 Rep)
    Power Jacks: 63
    Power Knees: 86
    Power Jumps: 37
    Globe Jumps: 13 ( 4 Jumps = 1 Rep)
    Suicide Jumps: 17 1/2 lol
    Push Up Jacks: 31
    Low Plank Oblique: 58

I was planning on eating 1200 calories a day, which is low. But, I'm looking to speed up my results. I think that 1200 wouldn't be able to sustain me through this program since its so intense. So I'm thinking of eating 1400 calories a day. (Maybe even 1500 on some days..)

I'm starting week 8 of Insanity (12 workouts to go, woohoo!) and I did best when I was eating really strictly 40% protein, 40% carbs, 20% fat, as recommended, at 1200-1300 calories a day, and EATING BACK EVERY DAMN EXERCISE CALORIE. You'll burn about 500 per workout, easy, so that gives you 1700 cals. It should be plenty, depending on your level of overall activity.

Good luck to all of you! It goes faster than you think, just be consistent!

Please increase your calories. I'm 5'3" and 134lbs. and I eat 1800 calories while doing Insanity and am losing weight and inches.

Oh Ok. Thanks for the advice. I dont think ill be eating 1800 calories. I'll up my calories most likely on month 2.
But as for now on month 1, I think I'm gonna eat in the 1200 - 1400 calorie range.

    Hey Everyone,

I just started doing Insanity on Monday too. I was looking for a group to join to see if others were also doing the program. I just finished day 3 and feel like cardio is going to be the death of me ... do anyone of you also feel the same?
