I have had success losing weight keeping carbs under 100 grams per day. I have lost a little over twenty lbs in three months , I take synthroid & my last tests showed good control. Something to consider if you are not losing counting calories.

I have found the only way I lose weight is to cut out the carbs - higher protien and low fat - no artifical sweeteners seems to help too - I've also cut out almost all soda - i have about 1 a week with dinner on the weekend and it's never diet
I lost 40 lbs following that a year ago and have maintained within 3.5 lbs - I just joined this new program today to try to lose my final 30lbs
