Top 10 Groceries?

If you could only buy 10 groceries with which to make all your meals (herbs, spices, oils excluded), what would they be?

Here are mine:

1. Salmon filets
2. Tilapia filets
3. Shrimp
4. Eggs
5. Arugula
6. Shirataki noodles
7. Heirloom tomatoes
8. Apples
9. Mushrooms
10. Chicken breasts

(Runners up: parmesan, oatmeal, low sodium tuna fish, Smooth Operator peanut butter, bananas, Ezekiel sprouted whole grain low sodium bread, Greek yogurt)

(P.S. This idea shamelessly borrowed from the MFP general forum this morning. But I'm more interested in this group's choices than all those teenagers & bodybuilders! ;c)

    1. chicken breasts
    2. pork loin

    5. cheese
    6. tomatoes
    7. broccoli

For the sake of sustainability I've tried to avoid becoming too dependent on a short list of special "diet" foods and could easily come up with another 2 or 3 dozen items for a runners up list. I eat most of what I ate before I lost the weight, just prepared differently in some cases and with better portion control. MUCH better portion control... OK, so I barely understood the concept of portion control until a couple of years ago.
